The one who brought his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah.

His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels, [That is, about 3 1/4 pounds (about 1.5 kilograms); also elsewhere in this chapter] and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, [That is, about 1 3/4 pounds (about 0.8 kilogram); also elsewhere in this chapter] both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering;
