"You shall not eat of anything that dies of itself: you may give it to the foreigner living among you who is within your gates, that he may eat it; or you may sell it to a foreigner: for you are a holy people to Yahweh your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk."

You shall surely tithe all the increase of your seed, that which comes forth from the field year by year.

"You shall eat before Yahweh your God, in the place which he shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, the tithe of your grain, of your new wine, and of your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Yahweh your God always."

JÓ 29-31
“Como é bom ser cristão, quando tudo está bem pro seu lado...” É assim que canta Luiz Cláudio. “Os amigos, sorrindo, lhe abraçam, e estão com você”, e por aí vai... “Mas se tudo se vai para sempre, inclusive os amigos, e a doença lhe aflige e a fama já não mais existe, é mais fácil agora afastar-se de Deus, no momento de tanta aflição...” Por quê?
Antes de falar sobre o porquê, quero chamar sua atenção para ver a imagem, a estampa, o vídeo do áudio dessa música que mencionei. Mas não é no youtube, nem na televisão, nem no computador. É na leitura bíblica de hoje! Só que tem uma variante. Quando Jó estava bem, era fácil servir a Deus. Quando ficou doente, pobre e sem amigos, servir a Deus ficou difícil até para sua mulher, que mandou ele amaldiçoá-Lo e morrer, e para seus amigos, que passaram a falar um tanto de heresias.
Em Jó 29, ele fala que sente muita saudade de quando ia à porta da cidade, se assentava na praça pública e quando os jovens e pessoas idosas iam passando e o viam, ficavam em pé, diante dele, de mão boca, em silêncio, só o ouvindo falar. Ser cristão nessas horas é uma maravilha. Mas, no capítulo 30, Jó diz: “Mas agora eles zombam de mim”. “Virei piadinha para eles.”
E o que fazer quando viramos piada? Se Jó se encaixasse no perfil de crente descrito na música do cantor Luiz Cláudio, ele teria concordado com as ideias malucas dos amigos e esposa. Mas isso não aconteceu. Na leitura de hoje, terminam as palavras de Jó e o mais fantástico é que ele continua firme e perseverante na sua fé. Então, pensando nisso, resolvi escrever um poema sobre sentir vergonha ou não daquilo que se crê. Posso compartilhá-lo com você?
