Now he had made a bronze platform, five cubits [That is, about 7 1/2 feet (about 2.3 metres)] long, five cubits wide and three cubits [That is, about 4 1/2 feet (about 1.4 metres)] high, and had placed it in the centre of the outer court. He stood on the platform and then knelt down before the whole assembly of Israel and spread out his hands towards heaven.
