VOCÊ ACREDITA EM MILAGRES?

Você acredita em milagres? Sim? Então sua porta está aberta para que o Senhor atue no seu coração. Se não acredita, lamento, porque, dessa forma, fica difícil de o Senhor ter uma abertura para entrar na sua vida e operar um milagre. É muito triste perder a oportunidade de ver um milagre acontecer. Quem diz que não acredita em milagres, argumenta que não acredita porque nunca viu um. Só que esse tipo de gente ignora o fato de que o milagre só acontece para quem tem fé. Então, tal tipo de pessoa, na realidade, nunca viu um milagre e nunca o verá.
Certa vez, havia um mineiro de carvão que vivia bêbado. Daí, num belo dia, aquele homem das minas, alcoólatra, se converteu. Foi uma zombaria só. Os amigos dele faziam graça, palhaçada, não acreditaram na conversão dele.
Um dos seus zombadores teve mais coragem que os outros e foi tirar satisfação com ele. Chegou até ele e disse:
- Carlos, você não gostava de vinho? A Bíblia não diz que uma vez Jesus foi numa festa de casamento e lá fez um milagre? E aí, você acredita ou não que, naquele dia, Jesus transformou a água em vinho?
Então, houve um silêncio... Aquele suspense...
Carlos, o ex-bêbado, agora convertido, respondeu:
- Olha, meu amigo, muito mais importante que Jesus ter transformado água em vinho ou não, é a certeza que tenho de que, na minha casa, Ele transformou a cachaça em comida na mesa. Esse é o milagre que conheço.
Talvez você se depare com esse paradoxo nas histórias de hoje. Desde a leitura de ontem até a de amanhã, temos uma sequência de milagres. Se enquanto você estiver lendo, estiver acreditando, é porque Deus já terá feito um milagre no seu coração, vida e mente. Se não, quem está precisando de um milagre é você.
Qual a maior prova de milagres? É poder testemunhar uma transformação de vida. E Deus pode fazer isso na sua vida. Você sabe por que acredito nesses milagres do Deus da leitura de hoje? Devido aos milagres que Ele fez e faz na minha vida. Era isso que o mineiro, ex-bêbado, queria dizer: “Não vi Jesus transformar água em vinho ou transformar cinco pães num banquete para cinco mil... Mas, O vi converter um homem violento, revoltado e vingativo numa pessoa que até seus velhos amigos são obrigados a dizer assim: ‘Só um Deus para conseguir fazer isso’.”
Há pessoas violentas, corruptas, entregues a todo tipo de paixão e vício. Jesus as mudou. Elas acreditam em milagres porque os viram em suas próprias vidas.
