PROCUREM AS OVELHAS PERDIDAS

Desta leitura, as palavras que mais chamaram minha atenção foram: “fui enviado... à s ovelhas perdidas de Israel (Mateus 14:24). Isso lembra-me, também, Mateus 10:5-6. Leia em sua BÃblia, sobre a necessidade de procurar as ovelhas perdidas.
O pastor Ortberg fez um comentário inspirado a respeito desse tema tão importante dos ensinamentos de Jesus.
"Todo mundo tem um reino, num sentido bÃblico. Seu reino pessoal é a pequena esfera em que aquilo que você diz acontece. Seu reino é o campo de domÃnio da força de vontade...
"Meu reino é o campo de domÃnio da minha força de vontade, onde as coisas acontecem da forma que desejo... Tudo bem, todos nós fomos criados para possuir um reino.
"Nosso reino está manchado pelo pecado. Na Terra, vamos unir todos os nossos pequenos reinos - o seu e o meu. Assim, interagirão e formarão reinos maiores. Formarão famÃlias, escolas, companhias, corporações e nações...
"Jesus disse que essa é a esfera, a sociedade, a comunidade que Ele chama de Reino de Deus, ou, à s vezes, especialmente no Evangelho de Mateus, de Reino do Céu... Esse é o campo de domÃnio da vontade de Deus. Sempre que a vontade de Deus é colocada em prática, a esfera em que ela ocorre conta com a aprovação e o deleite de Deus. Tudo acontece exatamente do jeito que Deus deseja. Com que isso se parece? De todas as coisas que Jesus ensinou, esse era o tópico número um. Ele tentou deixar claro para as pessoas o que isso realmente significa.
"Vamos imaginar por um momento... uma sociedade em que as pessoas se preocupam constantemente em ajudar aqueles que se sentem solitários ou rejeitados para que se sintam incluÃdos e amados. Uma sociedade onde não há rancor, fofoca, crueldade e medo. Uma sociedade em que reina a criatividade e a bondade e onde habita o maior e mais alegre de todos os servos, o maravilhoso Deus e Pai de Jesus, que é adorado e honrado por toda eternidade pelo Seu infinito amor. Esse, Jesus disse, é o Reino de Deus e ele existe. Esse Reino está aqui neste momento...
"Essa foi a estratégia de Jesus... uma nova comunidade apoderada pelo EspÃrito, um modelo de estilo de vida totalmente alternativo para o mundo através do qual o Reino de Deus pode começar a transformar este mundo triste e escuro."
O evangelismo nada mais é do que falar de Cristo. Claro que não podemos falar de Jesus aos outros se não O conhecemos. Da mesma forma, testemunhar nada mais é do que falar a um amigo a respeito de seu melhor Amigo.
