When the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.

Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brothers, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.

"They set the altar on its base; for fear was on them because of the peoples of the countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon to Yahweh, even burnt offerings morning and evening."

"They kept the feast of tents, as it is written, and [offered] the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;"

and afterward the continual burnt offering, and [the offerings] of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of Yahweh that were consecrated, and of everyone who willingly offered a freewill offering to Yahweh.

From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh: but the foundation of the temple of Yahweh was not yet laid.

"They gave money also to the masons, and to the carpenters; and food, and drink, and oil, to them of Sidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia."

Now in the second year of their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brothers the priests and the Levites, and all those who were come out of the captivity to Jerusalem, and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to have the oversight of the work of the house of Yahweh.

Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brothers, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to have the oversight of the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brothers the Levites.

When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Yahweh, they set the priests in their clothing with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise Yahweh, after the order of David king of Israel.

Levítico 26-27
Chegando perto do final do livro Levítico, no capítulo 26, encontramos a Bíblia discutindo sobre as recompensas da obediência e as conseqüências da desobediência. Em seguida, no próximo capítulo, existem as orientações de Deus quanto aos cuidados que devemos ter para com aquilo que pertence a Ele e, em seguida, no último verso, é mencionado que esses assuntos são “os mandamentos que o Senhor ordenou”.
Quando pensamos em mandamentos, pensamos em “nãos”. Não gostamos de “nãos”. E muitas vezes reclamamos: “só sabe dizer não”, fazendo a alusão de que o “não” é ruim. Na realidade, o “não” em excesso realmente não faz bem. Deus demonstrou isso, ao lidar com os israelitas. E a ciência está descobrindo o mesmo, atualmente.
A neurociência tem pesquisado para descobrir os motivos que levam uma criança a ser desobediente. E dentre os inúmeros motivos, está o excesso de “nãos”. “Não fale”, “Não pegue”, “Não grite”... faz com que muitos baixinhos tenham dificuldades em obedecer. A parte da frente do cérebro, chamada de córtex pré-frontal, que fica bem atrás da testa, é responsável, também, por impedir que respondamos a estímulos de forma automática, sem pensar.
E o que isso tem a ver com os “nãos” na infância? É que essa parte do cérebro só amadurece na adolescência. Antes disso, a criança responde ao que vê e ouve, fazendo o que dá na telha. E se virar um hábito muito arraigado ao caráter, até quando se tornar um cérebro adulto, terá dificuldades de obedecer a um simples “não”.
Prova? Não pense em uma maçã! Conseguiu? Claro que não! Assim que você leu “maçã”, a palavra “não” perdeu sua importância majoritária. A imagem da maçã foi ativada automaticamente no seu cérebro, porque ela foi mencionada.
Isso ilustra as dificuldades dos pueris. Quando escutam “não olhem”, os cérebros infantis se veem em um dilema. Então, a lógica é: se você cita palavras como jogar, rabiscar e mexer, elas ativam automaticamente essas ações e o cérebro se prepara para executá-las.
Logo, diante disso, o que é o melhor a ser feito? É substituir muitas das proibições em comandos positivos. Em lugar de “não corra”, “ande devagar”, e assim por diante...
Observe na leitura de hoje como Deus mescla ordens que usam “nãos” com comandos positivos. Deus faz de tudo para ajudar nosso cérebro a obedecer para conseguirmos sair “bem na fita”. Como Ele criou o cérebro, sabe como fazer isso. Dessa leitura, tente extrair o máximo possível de lições assim, para a realidade do seu cotidiano. Lembre-se: o objetivo bíblico sempre será promover o seu bem, sua felicidade.
