Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

|Levítico 14:2|
This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,

|Levítico 14:3|
and the priest shall go forth out of the camp. The priest shall examine him, and behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,

|Levítico 14:4|
then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.

He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.

"He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days."

It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water, then he shall be clean.

On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

JÓ 29-31
“Como é bom ser cristão, quando tudo está bem pro seu lado...” É assim que canta Luiz Cláudio. “Os amigos, sorrindo, lhe abraçam, e estão com você”, e por aí vai... “Mas se tudo se vai para sempre, inclusive os amigos, e a doença lhe aflige e a fama já não mais existe, é mais fácil agora afastar-se de Deus, no momento de tanta aflição...” Por quê?
Antes de falar sobre o porquê, quero chamar sua atenção para ver a imagem, a estampa, o vídeo do áudio dessa música que mencionei. Mas não é no youtube, nem na televisão, nem no computador. É na leitura bíblica de hoje! Só que tem uma variante. Quando Jó estava bem, era fácil servir a Deus. Quando ficou doente, pobre e sem amigos, servir a Deus ficou difícil até para sua mulher, que mandou ele amaldiçoá-Lo e morrer, e para seus amigos, que passaram a falar um tanto de heresias.
Em Jó 29, ele fala que sente muita saudade de quando ia à porta da cidade, se assentava na praça pública e quando os jovens e pessoas idosas iam passando e o viam, ficavam em pé, diante dele, de mão boca, em silêncio, só o ouvindo falar. Ser cristão nessas horas é uma maravilha. Mas, no capítulo 30, Jó diz: “Mas agora eles zombam de mim”. “Virei piadinha para eles.”
E o que fazer quando viramos piada? Se Jó se encaixasse no perfil de crente descrito na música do cantor Luiz Cláudio, ele teria concordado com as ideias malucas dos amigos e esposa. Mas isso não aconteceu. Na leitura de hoje, terminam as palavras de Jó e o mais fantástico é que ele continua firme e perseverante na sua fé. Então, pensando nisso, resolvi escrever um poema sobre sentir vergonha ou não daquilo que se crê. Posso compartilhá-lo com você?
