And it cometh to pass, after these things, a vineyard hath been to Naboth the Jezreelite, that [is] in Jezreel, near the palace of Ahab king of Samaria,

and Ahab speaketh unto Naboth, saying, `Give to me thy vineyard, and it is to me for a garden of green herbs, for it [is] near by my house, and I give to thee in its stead a better vineyard than it; if good in thine eyes, I give to thee silver -- its price.`

And Naboth saith unto Ahab, `Far be it from me, by Jehovah, my giving the inheritance of my fathers to thee;`

and Ahab cometh in unto his house, sulky and wroth, because of the word that Naboth the Jezreelite hath spoken unto him when he saith, `I do not give to thee the inheritance of my fathers,` and he lieth down on his bed, and turneth round his face, and hath not eaten bread.

And Jezebel his wife cometh in unto him, and speaketh unto him, `What [is] this? -- thy spirit sulky, and thou art not eating bread!`

And he saith unto her, `Because I speak unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and say to him, Give to me thy vineyard for money, or if thou desire, I give to thee a vineyard in its stead; and he saith, I do not give to thee my vineyard.`

And Jezebel his wife saith unto him, `Thou now dost execute rule over Israel! rise, eat bread, and let thy heart be glad, -- I do give to thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.`

And she writeth letters in the name of Ahab, and sealeth with his seal, and sendeth the letters unto the elders, and unto the freemen, who are in his city, those dwelling with Naboth,

and she writeth in the letters, saying, `Proclaim a fast, and cause Naboth to sit at the head of the people,

Hoje já é dia 11 de fevereiro... Parece que começamos o ano ontem! Bem, mas, no mês de fevereiro, há muitas coisas boas, não é mesmo?
Neste mês, geralmente temos um feriado prolongado, onde nós, cristãos, costumamos fazer um acampamento de verão para ter um retiro espiritual de comunhão fraternal com os irmãos. Em fevereiro, muitos voltam às aulas. Ele também é o mês que passa mais rápido, já que tem 28 ou 29 dias. Nele, comemoramos o dia do publicitário e o do repórter...
O que mais?
Ah! No mês de fevereiro, meu perfil de orkut faz aniversário. Parece piada, não parece? Mas, por falar em orkut, você já viu o perfil de Moisés, no orkut? É isso mesmo que você leu. Estou falando do Moisés da Bíblia. Você já visitou o perfil de orkut dele?
Como você já deve saber, o orkut é uma rede social que tem na internet. Serve para ficar ligado com os amigos e manter uma lista atualizada das pessoas com quem nos relacionamos, separando e classificando essa lista segundo o que julgamos como critério de seleção. Nele, também mostramos muito do que fazemos e do que nossos amigos fazem. Nessa rede, também há comentários sobre isso tudo, além das comunidades onde as pessoas são agregadas.
E assim como o orkut é um espaço onde fazemos tudo isso, na Bíblia, encontrei um espaço onde Moisés também o fazia. Estou falando do livro de Números. Você já notou esse detalhe? Além de fazer a leitura de hoje, dê uma olhada geral nesse livro. Ao iniciar a leitura das primeiras páginas, lembrei do meu orkut que, para mim, é tipo um filho querido: precisa de cuidados contínuos. Moisés tinha esse carinho com os pergaminhos ou papiros, onde ele resolveu colocar várias informações sobre o perfil da pessoa que ele era, bem como as listas dos amigos dele, tais como os descendentes de Gade, Simeão, Judá, etc. Se você “clica” numa dessas comunidades, ou seja, se faz uma leitura mais atentiva, descobre detalhes sobre eles, o que eles faziam etc. Quando leio a descrição dos detalhes desse livro, como por exemplo, sobre as “Cornetas de Prata”, chego a fazer uma “mentalização fotográfica”. Na leitura de números, podemos criar, na mente, uma imagem virtual.
