And David cometh in to Nob, unto Ahimelech the priest, and Ahimelech trembleth at meeting David, and saith to him, `Wherefore [art] thou thyself alone, and no man with thee?`

And David saith to Ahimelech the priest, `The king hath commanded me a matter, and he saith unto me, Let no man know anything of the matter about which I am sending thee, and which I have commanded thee; and the young men I have caused to know at such and such a place;

and now, what is there under thy hand? five loaves give into my hand, or that which is found.`

TESTEMUNHO CLARO DA FÉ
Atos 04-06
Além de ler os três capítulos propostos para hoje, por favor, demore-se em Atos 4:1-12. Creio que o núcleo deste trecho pode estar nas palavras: “Com que poder, ou em nome de quem vocês fizeram isso?... Por meio do nome de Jesus Cristo... (Atos 4:7 e 10)”.
Pedro e João foram presos porque haviam proclamado uma palavra de libertação a um homem doente na porta do templo e anunciado Jesus como o único Salvador do mundo (veja Atos 3). O que move estes homens a anunciarem o nome de Jesus?
Eis alguns aspectos que nos ajudam a entender esta motivação: 1)Eles experimentaram na própria vida o amor de Deus através de Jesus Cristo. Estes discípulos estiveram com Jesus (v.13) e, junto dEle, receberam amor, paz, consolação, direção, salvação dos pecados e a esperança da vida eterna. 2) Eles experimentaram o poder de Deus. Jesus não permaneceu na morte, mas ressuscitou ao terceiro dia. O Senhor ressurreto esteve com eles. Ao subir aos céus, prometeu-lhes o Espírito Santo. Este lês concedia poder para testemunhar (Atos 1:8). 3) Os seus corações estavam firmados em Cristo. Seus corações não duvidavam que o senhor e Salvador do mundo é Jesus.
Eles compreenderam a missão de Jesus, o seu propósito de trazer salvação ao mundo. Aí os discípulos não podiam mais calar-se! Outros precisam ouvir de Jesus e ser salvos (João 17:18).
Você crê em Jesus como seu único e suficiente Salvador? Se você respondeu “sim”, então, por favor, responda a esta outra pergunta: Com quem você tem compartilhado sua fé em Cristo? O testemunho da igreja é este: Jesus é o Salvador do mundo, de todos que carecem de uma palavra de amor e esperança!
Mas há outro aspecto do testemunho claro da fé. As pessoas precisam ver, não apenas que Jesus nos salvou, mas também, que a nossa vida é submissa à vontade dEle. Este é o aspecto de reconhecê-Lo como Senhor. Além de ser o seu Salvador, Jesus precisa ser o seu Senhor. Entende este aspecto? Note, na leitura de hoje, como aqueles personagens cristãos deixavam guiar-se pela vontade de Deus, e não por suas próprias filosofias e interpretações. “Um senhor é aquele que tem poder e autoridade sobre outras pessoas. Senhor é algumas vezes usado como título por pessoas em posição de poder (Andy Diestelkamp)”. Para que Jesus seja o seu Senhor, você já submeteu-se ao Seu senhorio?
As pessoas verão a salvação em você através da submissão da sua vida a Ele.
