Capítulo 11

₅₂ |João 11:52| and not for the nation only, but that also the children of God, who have been scattered abroad, he may gather together into one.

₅₃ |João 11:53| From that day, therefore, they took counsel together that they may kill him;

₅₄ |João 11:54| Jesus, therefore, was no more freely walking among the Jews, but went away thence to the region nigh the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there he tarried with his disciples.

₅₅ |João 11:55| And the passover of the Jews was nigh, and many went up to Jerusalem out of the country before the passover, that they might purify themselves;

₅₆ |João 11:56| they were seeking, therefore, Jesus, and said one with another, standing in the temple, `What doth appear to you -- that he may not come to the feast?`

₅₇ |João 11:57| and both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if any one may know where he is, he may shew [it], so that they may seize him.

Capítulo 12

₁ |João 12:1| Jesus, therefore, six days before the passover, came to Bethany, where was Lazarus, who had died, whom he raised out of the dead;

₂ |João 12:2| they made, therefore, to him a supper there, and Martha was ministering, and Lazarus was one of those reclining together (at meat) with him;

₃ |João 12:3| Mary, therefore, having taken a pound of ointment of spikenard, of great price, anointed the feet of Jesus and did wipe with her hair his feet, and the house was filled from the fragrance of the ointment.

₄ |João 12:4| Therefore saith one of his disciples -- Judas Iscariot, of Simon, who is about to deliver him up --
