The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, who were carried away captive to Babylon.

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said to him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.

Now the LORD hath brought it, and done according as he hath said: because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thy hand. If it seemeth good to thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well to thee: but if it seemeth ill to thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.

Now while he had not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wherever it seemeth convenient to thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him provisions and a reward, and let him go.

Then Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

Now when all the captains of the forces who were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed to him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

Then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, swore to them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, who will come to us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.

Hoje, quero convidar você a fazer parte de um G12 que seja menos confuso e controvertido que o sistema criado pelo pastor colombiano César Castellanos Dominguez. Permita-me comentar sobre um enquadramento que é direto de Deus, dentro do qual todo ser humano pode estar, sem burocracia nenhuma, mesmo que não seja visto pelas outras pessoas, mas sendo reconhecido diretamente pelo Senhor. Isso não é uma doutrina, mas apenas uma aplicação e que está relacionada a uma curiosidade que encontrei na leitura de hoje.
Se você der uma olhada em 1Crônicas 25, verá que ele fala das funções dos cantores e dos diferentes tipos de instrumentos que eles tocavam. Cada um tinha sua função bem distribuída e de uma maneira proporcional. Eram 288 cantores - esse total é uma divisão de 12 músicos em cada família. Como eram 24 famílias, 12 vezes 24 dá um total de 288 pessoas para executar a música do templo. Imagine, que lindo esse tanto de gente tocando, cantando, trabalhando no ministério da música!
Você lembra do quanto o número 12 é importante na Bíblia? Existiram as 12 tribos de Israel, os 12 apóstolos, as 12 portas da cidade; há os 12 fundamentos da nova Jerusalém, os 144 mil, que é um quadrado perfeito de 12, e por aí vai. Isso representa algo que Deus separa para usar de canal, de conduto, para conduzir Seu povo até Ele. As 12 tribos de Israel deveriam levar os demais povos do mundo antigo até Jeová. Os 12 espias deveriam levar os israelitas até a nova Canaã. Os 12 apóstolos deveriam levar o mundo do primeiro século até Jesus. As 12 portas da Cidade Santa deverão nos conduzir até o trono de Deus... E aí podemos ver também os 12 e mais 12 e muitos outros 12 músicos no final de 1Crônicas com o objetivo de, através do louvor, também proporcionarem uma aproximação entre os adoradores e Deus. Vemos que, com Deus, não há uma “lotação fechada”. A entrada é franca.
Mas alguém poderia pensar: “Para essa missão, Deus só tem 12 vagas.” Porém, quando Deus forma um grupo de 12, Ele franqueia outro. Quando fecha um grupo de 12, franqueia outro também. E mais 12 e mais 12... Se multiplicarmos isso por 12, teremos 144 mil.
Então, você quer ser um dos 12 de Deus? Que tal pertencer ao grupo dos 144 mil, que vão louvar, também, o Cordeiro de Deus, só que lá no Céu? Enquanto você estiver fazendo a leitura bíblica de hoje, pense nisso e fale sobre isso com Deus. Desde agora, imagine-se fazendo parte desse super coral! Vamos nos encontrar lá?
