|Jeremias 40:1|
The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, who were carried away captive to Babylon.

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said to him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.

Now the LORD hath brought it, and done according as he hath said: because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thy hand. If it seemeth good to thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well to thee: but if it seemeth ill to thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.

Now while he had not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wherever it seemeth convenient to thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him provisions and a reward, and let him go.

Then Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

Now when all the captains of the forces who were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed to him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

Then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, swore to them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, who will come to us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.

VOCÊ QUER SENTIR AMOR?

Já passou alguma vez pela sua cabeça que ninguém gosta de você? Você já sentiu vontade de sentir-se amado? Você está precisando ter um relacionamento de amor? Então, quer saber como resolver tudo isso? É só ler o livro de Oséias. Na nossa leitura de hoje, aprendemos sobre o amor. Deus nos ama muito, muito mesmo! Seu amor é infinito, eterno e constante. E uma demonstração desse amor é a história de Oséias.
Esse relato demonstra o amor que Deus tem para com o povo dEle. Não é apenas uma lição de um casamento desfeito, de um coração partido. O que podemos perceber é que retrata do próprio coração partido do Senhor. Através da história de Oséias, compreendemos plenamente o profundo amor que Jeová tem por nós, compreender também a dor que Deus sente em relação ao pecado e compreender, também, qual é o plano de Deus para redimir cada um de nós.
Foi o amor de Deus que fez com que Ele retirasse todos os obstáculos para mostrar para o povo de Israel o quanto Ele Se preocupava com aquela gente. Na realidade, Deus estava “desesperado” para poder salvar e libertar aquela nação. Mas o povo de Israel deveria tomar a decisão deles. Eles tinham que escolher: voltar para Deus ou não.
Em nossos dias, acontece da mesma forma. Do mesmo jeito, Deus está desesperado para redimir e restaurar o atual povo dEle. Então, Sua ansiedade é que nos entreguemos completamente. O pior é que do jeito que foi nos tempos de Oséias, a história se repete: geralmente, Deus é rejeitado, esquecido ou ignorado. Isso causa muita dor no coração de Deus. Imagine, o ser Todo-Poderoso, Criador do Céu e da Terra, que restaura corações, revela que o Seu próprio coração está partido.
Mas nosso Deus não desiste. No livro de Oséias, encontramos os metafóricos ensinamentos de que Ele promete “comprar a briga” para ter sua noiva de volta. Porque, assim como Gomer, que se perverteu e foi redimida, o plano de Deus é também redimir Seus filhos. A promessa que Deus deixa é que Ele restaurará e curará o Seu povo.
Você é do povo de Deus? Então, você está programado para receber muito amor, para ser muito amado. Deus está disposto a fazer tudo que for preciso e possível, para que o nosso relacionamento com Ele dê certo. Deus quer restaurar você, Deus quer reavivar você, quer cuidar de você, quer amar você.
Só que tem uma coisa: relacionamento tem duas vias. Deus tem essa vontade dEle, mas você deve fazer sua parte para manter um relacionamento de amor com Ele. Experimente!
