|Ezequiel 48:13|
And the Levites are to have a part of the land equal to the limit of the priests', twenty-five thousand long and ten thousand wide, all of it together to be twenty-five thousand long and twenty thousand wide.

|Ezequiel 48:14|
And they are not to let any of it go for a price, or give it in exchange; and the part of the land given to the Lord is not to go into other hands: for it is holy to the Lord.

|Ezequiel 48:15|
And the other five thousand, measured from side to side, in front of the twenty-five thousand, is to be for common use, for the town, for living in and for a free space: and the town will be in the middle of it.

And these will be its measures: the north side, four thousand five hundred, and the south side, four thousand five hundred, and on the east side, four thousand five hundred, and on the west side, four thousand five hundred.

And the town will have a free space on the north of two hundred and fifty, on the south of two hundred and fifty, on the east of two hundred and fifty, and on the west of two hundred and fifty.

And the rest, in measure as long as the holy offering, will be ten thousand to the east and ten thousand to the west: and its produce will be for food for the workers of the town.

It will be farmed by workers of the town from all the tribes of Israel.

The size of the offering all together is to be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand: you are to make the holy offering a square, together with the property of the town.

And the rest is to be for the prince, on this side and on that side of the holy offering and of the property of the town, in front of the twenty-five thousand to the east, as far as the east limit, and to the west, in front of the twenty-five thousand, as far as the west limit, and of the same measure as those parts; it will be the property of the prince: and the holy offering and holy place of the house will be in the middle of it.

And the property of the Levites and the property of the town will be in the middle of the prince's property; between the limit of Judah's part and the limit of Benjamin's part will be for the prince.

SEMPRE AO SEU LADO
Josué 18-21
Ao fazer a leitura de hoje, você perceberá que as coisas que aconteciam na vida do povo eram grandes cumprimentos das promessas que já haviam sido feitas. Deus sempre cumpre as promessas? Às vezes, pode até parecer demorado, como uma história que aconteceu na Romênia.
Havia um cidadão romeno, que sempre dizia ao filho:
- Filho, haja o que houver, sempre estarei ao seu lado.
Naquela época, aconteceu um terremoto muito grande, que arrasou muitas das construções. Aquele cidadão estava na estrada, longe do seu filho. Imagine como deve ter ficado o coração desse pai! Ele foi direto à escola onde o filho estudava. Quando chegou lá, ficou decepcionado. A escola estava totalmente destruída.
Aquele homem foi tomado de uma tristeza tão grande, que na cabeça dele ficavam latejando aquelas palavras: “Filho, haja o que houver, sempre estarei...”
Ele não podia acreditar. Teorizou isso tantas vezes, mas agora, na hora da morte, ele não pudera cumprir a promessa. Seu coração estava dilacerado.
Ele ficou andando por cima dos entulhos até descobrir a altura do local onde tinha sido a sala de aulas do filho. Desesperado, começou a cavar com as próprias mãos. Com um enorme peso na mente, ficava repetindo aquelas palavras da promessa: “Haja o que houver, sempre estarei ao seu lado.”
Outros pais chegaram, até bem intencionados, e tentavam afastá-lo, dizendo:
- Amigo, vai pra casa. Não adianta, não sobrou ninguém.
E ele, decidido, respondia:
- Você vai me ajudar?
Ninguém o ajudava. Pouco a pouco, todas as pessoas iam se afastando. E não adiantava tentar convencer aquele homem. Desesperado, cavando com as mãos, repetia a mesma frase.
A polícia, parentes e até os bombeiros tentaram convencê-lo de parar com aquela loucura, mas não adiantou. Ele continuou por 30 horas.
Aí, depois de trinta horas, quando afastou uma enorme pedra, sempre repetindo aquela frase: “Filho, haja o que houver, sempre estarei ao seu lado”, então ouviu:
- Papai! Estou aqui!
- Filho, você está bem?
- Estou. Mas tenho sede, fome e estou com medo.
Impressionante! Aquele pai conseguiu, contra tudo e todos, encontrar seu filho ainda vivo, além de mais 14 crianças sobreviventes, as quais até os bombeiros já tinham dado por mortas.
O filho teve toda essa força de sobrevivência devido à promessa: “Filho, haja o que houver, sempre estarei ao seu lado.”
Deus também sempre cumpre Suas promessas. Creia que o Senhor, o seu pai, é o pai mais amoroso e fiel do mundo. Ele nunca desiste dos Seus filhos. Sua promessa para você é: “Filho, haja o que houver, sempre estarei ao seu lado.”
Deus é apaixonado por você!
