|Jeremias 40:1|
The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, after Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him; for he had been put in chains, among all the prisoners of Jerusalem and Judah who were taken away prisoners to Babylon.

|Jeremias 40:2|
And the captain of the armed men took Jeremiah and said to him, The Lord your God gave word of the evil which was to come on this place:

|Jeremias 40:3|
*** and the Lord has made it come, and has done as he said; because of your sin against the Lord in not giving ear to his voice; and that is why this thing has come on you.

|Jeremias 40:4|
Now see, this day I am freeing you from the chains which are on your hands. If it seems good to you to come with me to Babylon, then come, and I will keep an eye on you; but if it does not seem good to you to come with me to Babylon, then do not come: see, all the land is before you; if it seems good and right to you to go on living in the land,

|Jeremias 40:5|
Then go back to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made ruler over the towns of Judah, and make your living-place with him among the people; or go wherever it seems right to you to go. So the captain of the armed men gave him food and some money and let him go.

So Jeremiah went to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, in Mizpah, and was living with him among the people who were still in the land.

Now when it came to the ears of all the captains of the forces who were in the field, and their men, that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, ruler in the land, and had put under his care the men and women and children, all the poorest of the land, those who had not been taken away to Babylon;

|Jeremias 40:8|
Then they came to Gedaliah in Mizpah, even Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan, the son of Kareah, and Seraiah, the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah, the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.

And Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, took an oath to them and their men, saying, Have no fear of the servants of the Chaldaeans: go on living in the land, and become the servants of the king of Babylon, and all will be well.

As for me, I will be living in Mizpah as your representative before the Chaldaeans who come to us: but you are to get in your wine and summer fruits and oil and put them in your vessels, and make living-places for yourselves in the towns which you have taken.

É DE GRAÇA!
2Samuel 18-19
Uma senhora foi aconselhar-se com um psicólogo 15 dias após ter recebido alta. Fazendo todas as tentativas possíveis para chamar a atenção de seu esposo, ela se afundara numa desesperançosa depressão. Por fim, na frente dele, passou a engolir 206 diferentes comprimidos. O marido permaneceu ali, olhando descrente. Ela foi para o quarto esperar a morte chegar, mas no fundo não queria morrer. Era uma maneira desesperada de dramatizar sua situação para o homem de cujo amor necessitava. Desafortunadamente, ele não teve reação.
Quando ela se tocou que ele não tinha nem um intento em socorrê-la, juntou suas forças e dirigiu-se até um pronto socorro. Depois de bombear o estômago da mulher, a equipe do hospital ligou para o esposo, que foi acompanhá-la. Ele ficou segurando a mão dela por duas horas, sem sequer indagar por que ela não estava querendo viver. Na realidade, mais de duas semanas depois, no dia em que a levou ao consultório psicológico, o homem fez seu primeiro comentário sobre o ocorrido: “Há uns 15 dias, você quase me matou de susto!” O conflito desse casal em desintegração era o resultado da ausência de apoio firme e amoroso do marido para com a mulher e o fato de ele estar enfrentando sua própria crise: fracasso nos negócios.
Muitas mulheres deprimidas e frustradas sonham com o dia em que terão todas as necessidades de atenção supridas por um esposo amoroso. Muitos homens não conseguem ouvir os clamores de suas esposas por estarem sufocados de preocupações. E no trajeto para alcançar seu rumo, os lutadores sonham com um atalho. Já se pegou sonhando em ser sorteado para receber muito dinheiro, exatamente por estar enfrentando uma crise financeira?
Você também tem vontade de suprir suas necessidades? Quais são os seus sonhos? São muitos? Não sei se a carência que sente é de alimento ou de alguma outra coisa. Mas tenho certeza de duas coisas: a) você tem inerentes ansiedades por coisas que parecem impossíveis de serem alcançadas; b) por se sentir incapaz de lograr esses objetivos, você sonha em “ganhá-los”, mesmo que não seja por suas próprias forças.
No plano original de Deus, você realmente não é programado para viver nas condições em que vive. Deveria estar em uma dimensão de realidade incomparavelmente melhor e superior, tanto à vida que está vivendo quanto a todos os seus sonhos juntos. Mas você sabe o que tem que fazer para conseguir isso?
Se fosse tudo de GRAÇA...
