At that time, says the Lord, they will take the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his rulers, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the people of Jerusalem out of their resting-places:

Atos 16-18
Para incentivá-lo a fazer a leitura bíblica de hoje, quero fazer ressaltar aqui alguns destaques da mesma. Digo alguns, porque creio que, motivado pelos tais, você mesmo concluirá a lista dos pontos relevantes deste trecho de texto inspirado (Atos 16-18). De minha parte, desta vez, a ênfase é doutrinária, como você lê a partir do próximo parágrafo.
O primeiro realce é para 16:6-7. Nestes versos, olhando para a doutrina do Espírito Santo, nos relembramos de Sua missão, que é conduzir a igreja e seus interesses (veja também 20:28). Note que os cristãos da igreja primitiva vislumbravam o Espírito Santo como uma pessoa divina (15:28).
A doutrina do sábado também pode ser evidenciada e reforçada com alguns versículos do nosso texto de hoje. Em 16:33, em 17:12 e 18:4 (cf. 66:22), confirmamos que, mesmo após a ascensão de Cristo, Sua igreja continuou lembrando-se do dia de sábado para o santificar, sistemática e periodicamente.
Dentre as nossas crenças fundamentais, temos como, a primeira delas, “As Sagradas Escrituras”. Esta primordialidade é dada à importância que a Bíblia tem. Cristãos verdadeiramente nobres sempre levaram isto em consideração. Veja que exemplo os ouvintes de Paulo e Silas, que recebiam a transmissão da Palavra em Beréia, nos deixaram, sobre como ser realmente um estudante que fica “Por Dentro da Bíblia”, em 17:11.
Mas precisamos ter consciência de que o conhecimento de Deus vem antes do conhecimento da Bíblia. Isto nós aprendemos em 17:23, com Paulo e com os atenienses, que adoravam a Deus antes mesmo de terem recebido a Sua palavra. E, voltando a falar sobre as doutrinas da divindade, não nos esqueçamos que é nEle que “vivemos, nos movemos e existimos (17:28)”.
Isto nos remonta à doutrina da Criação, notando a pauta de que a ação criadora de Deus não aconteceu somente no Gênesis. Ela continua (veja também Colossenses 1:17). É claro que foi nos eventos narrados nos primeiros capítulos da Bíblia que tudo começou, mas o mesmo Deus, eterno, que atuou lá, atua aqui. Lá, como humanidade, começamos a existir. Até mesmo a linha ateísta da antropologia ateísta concorda que toda a raça humana vem (evoluiu) de um só tronco. Mas antes dos cientistas de hoje, Paulo já sabia sobre a origem das raças, quando, em Atos 17:26, deixou claro que somos todos de um mesmo tronco ancestral.
Creio que o capítulo 18 pode ser resumido numa palavra: missão. Olhe para os atos dos apóstolos, ao ler este texto. Missiologia não é teoria apenas, mas, principalmente, prática. E a comissão da igreja, se considerada o primeiro dos seus ensinamentos, dá vigor a todas as demais doutrinas.
