For how shall I endure to see the evil that shall befall my people? and how shall I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?

And king Ahasuerus said to queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he stretched forth his hand against the Jews.

Write ye then for the Jews as seems good to you, in the king's name, and seal [it] with the king's ring. For a writing that is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, cannot be reversed.

Then were the king's scribes called at that time, in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth [day] thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded, to the Jews, and to the satraps, and the governors, and the princes of the provinces which are from India even to Ethiopia, a hundred and twenty-seven provinces, to every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people according to their language, and to the Jews according to their writing and according to their language.

And he wrote in the name of king Ahasuerus, and sealed [it] with the king's ring, and sent letters by couriers on horseback riding on coursers, horses of blood reared in the breeding studs:

[stating] that the king granted the Jews that were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that might assault them, [their] little ones and women, and to [take] the spoil of them for a prey,

upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, upon the thirteenth of the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.

That the decree might be given in every province, a copy of the writing was published to all the peoples, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.

The couriers mounted on coursers [and] horses of blood went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king's commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the fortress.

And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a mantle of byssus and purple; and the city of Shushan shouted and was glad.

Zacarias 12-14
De acordo com Mathew Henry, a profecia de Zacarias “é adequada para todos, porque seu objetivo é repreender por causa do pecado, anunciar os juízos de Deus contra o impenitente, e exortar aos que temem a Deus com as certezas das misericórdias que Deus tem reservadas para sua igreja, e especialmente da vinda do Messias, e o estabelecimento do seu reino no mundo”. Mesmo assim, há pessoas que descrêem, não somente do livro de Zacarias, bem como de toda a Bíblia. Portanto, hoje quero apresentar-lhe uma evidência de que a Bíblia é verdadeira, e de que as suas profecias se cumprem, realmente, através do estudo e um único detalhe profético. Vamos lá?
Texto de estudo: “E derramarei sobre a família de Davi e sobre os habitantes de Jerusalém um espírito [ou ‘o Espírito’] a de ação de graças e de súplicas. Olharão para mim, aquele a quem traspassaram, e chorarão por ele como quem chora a perda de um filho único, e se lamentarão amargamente por ele como quem lamenta a perda do filho mais velho ” (Zacarias 12:10).
Zacarias escreveu o texto acima por volta de 520 a.C. Nesta profecia messiânica, olhando para o futuro, o profeta descreve pelo menos duas coisas que viriam a ocorrer, em relação a Cristo.
1) “...aquele a quem traspassaram...”. Somada ao contexto, esta frase do profeta era uma predição de que, em sua morte, o Cristo, teria o seu lado perfurado.
2) “Olharão para mim... e chorarão... e lamentarão...”. E esta seria a descrição do que aconteceria com aqueles que perfurariam o lado do Messias.
E isto aconteceu?
O cumprimento profético: “Estas coisas aconteceram para que se cumprisse a Escritura: ‘Nenhum dos seus ossos será quebrado’, e, como diz a Escritura noutro lugar: ‘Olharão para aquele que traspassaram’” (João 19:36-37).
Meio milênio se passou, e no ano 31 d.C., e o primeiro item da profecia de Zacarias cumpriu-se. Ele não estava lá para ver, mas cumpriu-se, pois não era uma predição sua, e sim, de Deus.
Mas e o segundo item?
Ainda se cumprirá: “Eis que ele vem com as nuvens, e todo olho o verá, até mesmo aqueles que o traspassaram; e todos os povos da terra se lamentarão por causa dele. Assim será! Amém.” (Apocalipse 1:7)”.
Esta é uma evidência para que você continue dando crédito à Bíblia e ao que ela diz. Se as Escrituras Sagradas dizem que Jesus voltará, creia você ou não, Ele voltará. Porque a Sua vinda não depende da sua crença, mas da vontade de Deus.
Que naquele dia, você e eu possamos dizer: “este é o nosso Deus, a quem aguardávamos!”.
