Capítulo 35

₅ |Isaías 35:5| Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf be unstopped;

₆ |Isaías 35:6| then shall the lame [man] leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and torrents in the desert.

₇ |Isaías 35:7| And the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of wild dogs, where they lay down, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

₈ |Isaías 35:8| And a highway shall be there and a way, and it shall be called, The way of holiness: the unclean shall not pass through it; but it shall be for these. Those that go [this] way -- even fools, -- shall not err [therein].

₉ |Isaías 35:9| No lion shall be there, nor shall ravenous beast go up thereon, nor be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there].

₁₀ |Isaías 35:10| And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come to Zion with singing; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Capítulo 36

₁ |Isaías 36:1| And it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah, and took them.

₂ |Isaías 36:2| And the king of Assyria sent Rab-shakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem, to king Hezekiah, with a strong force. And he stood by the aqueduct of the upper pool, on the highway of the fuller's field.

₃ |Isaías 36:3| Then came forth to him Eliakim the son of Hilkijah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the chronicler.

₄ |Isaías 36:4| And Rab-shakeh said to them, Say now to Hezekiah, Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria: What confidence is this in which thou trustest?
