The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, after Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, hath sent him from Ramah, in his taking him -- and he a prisoner in chains -- in the midst of all the removal of Jerusalem and of Judah, who are removed to Babylon.

And the chief of the executioners taketh Jeremiah, and saith unto him, `Jehovah thy God hath spoken this evil concerning this place,

and Jehovah bringeth [it] in, and doth as He spake, because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not hearkened to His voice, even this thing hath been to you.

`And now, lo, I have loosed thee to-day from the chains that [are] on thy hand; if good in thine eyes to come with me [to] Babylon, come, and I keep mine eye upon thee: and if evil in thine eyes to come with me to Babylon, forbear; see, all the land [is] before thee, whither [it be] good, and whither [it be] right in thine eyes to go -- go.` --

and while he doth not reply -- `Or turn back unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath appointed over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him in the midst of the people, or whithersoever it is right in thine eyes to go -- go.` And the chief of the executioners giveth to him for the way, and a gift, and sendeth him away,

and Jeremiah cometh in unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, to Mizpah, and dwelleth with him, in the midst of the people who are left in the land.

And all the heads of the forces that [are] in the field hear, they and their men, that the king of Babylon hath appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam over the land, and that he hath charged him [with] men, and women, and infants, and of the poor of the land, of those who have not been removed to Babylon;

and they come in unto Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan sons of Kareah, and Seraiah son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah son of the Maachathite, they and their men.

And swear to them doth Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, and to their men, saying, `Be not afraid of serving the Chaldeans, abide in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it is well for you;

and I, lo, I am dwelling in Mizpah, to stand before the Chaldeans who are come in unto us, and ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruit, and oil, and put in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.`

Êxodo 37-38
Vamos trazer o pano de fundo de Êxodo 37-38 para uma comparação com algo que acontece, de forma semelhante, em toda a História. Esses bastidores também têm tudo a ver com o mundo atual em que vivemos. E as lições são muitas.
A inteligência é uma dádiva. Deus a concede à humanidade para beneficiar-lhe. E o ser humano usa-a para o seu malefício, provocando sua própria destruição em um processo vicioso de regressão dos valores e dos princípios.
Para solucionar os problemas de sobrevivência e conceder bem-estar às pessoas – que vivem em um mundo degradado – Deus concede-lhes a capacidade de produzir inventos poderosamente bons. Gutenberg inaugurou a imprensa com a frase “Pai nosso que estás nos Céus” e, logo em seguida, editou a Bíblia para a salvação de muitos. Isso evoluiu tanto, que hoje trocamos as informações gráficas virtualmente. Nossos computadores, interligados em rede, nos proporcionam essa bênção. Que benefício para os universitários!
Mas, na proporção que essas bênçãos são dadas aos seres humanos, eles, infelizmente, transformam-nas em degradação moral. Você pode perceber isso, de maneira muito clara, quando passa por uma banca de revistas e vê que a literatura ali existente, quase em sua totalidade, é um borrão para a alma. Ou, quando as estatísticas comprovam que o mercado pornográfico fatura bilhões e bilhões de dólares, especialmente pela mídia digital. É! O mundão em que vivemos é o verdadeiro retrato pintado pela letra de Léo Canhoto na música “O Último Julgamento”. Com isso, o homem sempre inova algo, com aparência e sofisticação superiores ao que já existia, mas com menores soluções para os seus problemas anteriores. Aumenta-se assim, a fraqueza e a autodestruição humanas.
Hoje são inventadas novas tecnologias com a finalidade de ajudar. Ajudarão, por um tempo, até que passarão a atrapalhar, necessitando de novas invenções para remediá-las que, por sua vez, entrarão no mesmo ciclo vicioso. Esse ciclo degenerativo das inovações tecnológicas acontece sob uma análise feita absolutamente no nível da capacidade humana.
Entretanto, o homem pode produzir feitos que não sejam tão “desgraçantes”, mas, pelo contrário, benéficos e duradouros. Como? A arca da aliança, a mesa e os utensílios, o candelabro de ouro e o altar dos holocaustos ainda são lembrados com tanto carinho e têm uma representação no próprio santuário celestial por causa de um diferencial. Foram produzidos com o segredo de Bezalel e seus companheiros de serviço: “Moisés inspecionou a obra e viu que tinham feito tudo conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado. Então, Moisés os abençoou” (Êxodo 39:43).
Entregue seu trabalho a Deus e deixe-O guiá-lo. Certamente, ele não fará parte do ciclo degenerativo das inovações tecnológicas. Vai ser muito abençoado!
