The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, after Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, hath sent him from Ramah, in his taking him -- and he a prisoner in chains -- in the midst of all the removal of Jerusalem and of Judah, who are removed to Babylon.

And the chief of the executioners taketh Jeremiah, and saith unto him, `Jehovah thy God hath spoken this evil concerning this place,

and Jehovah bringeth [it] in, and doth as He spake, because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not hearkened to His voice, even this thing hath been to you.

`And now, lo, I have loosed thee to-day from the chains that [are] on thy hand; if good in thine eyes to come with me [to] Babylon, come, and I keep mine eye upon thee: and if evil in thine eyes to come with me to Babylon, forbear; see, all the land [is] before thee, whither [it be] good, and whither [it be] right in thine eyes to go -- go.` --

and while he doth not reply -- `Or turn back unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath appointed over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him in the midst of the people, or whithersoever it is right in thine eyes to go -- go.` And the chief of the executioners giveth to him for the way, and a gift, and sendeth him away,

and Jeremiah cometh in unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, to Mizpah, and dwelleth with him, in the midst of the people who are left in the land.

And all the heads of the forces that [are] in the field hear, they and their men, that the king of Babylon hath appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam over the land, and that he hath charged him [with] men, and women, and infants, and of the poor of the land, of those who have not been removed to Babylon;

and they come in unto Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan sons of Kareah, and Seraiah son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah son of the Maachathite, they and their men.

And swear to them doth Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, and to their men, saying, `Be not afraid of serving the Chaldeans, abide in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it is well for you;

and I, lo, I am dwelling in Mizpah, to stand before the Chaldeans who are come in unto us, and ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruit, and oil, and put in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.`

No comentário anterior, mencionei sobre o CD do quarteto Ônix. Nele, há uma mensagem escrita pelo pastor Amilcar Groshel Jr, que comenta sobre a pedra ônix, uma pedra nobre: “É mais que emblemático o uso deste composto químico, o dióxido de silício, na Bíblia. Sim, o Ônix esteve presente desde o Éden (Gênesis 2:12), onde presenciou o primeiro sacrifício. Também era parte da estrutura do Santuário erguido por Moisés (Êxodo 25:7), testemunhando inúmeros rituais purificadores. Mas há um destaque no uso desta pedra preciosa: o Ônix foi escolhido por Deus para representar o seu povo na indumentária Sacerdotal (Êxodo 28:9), no processo de expiação, de intercessão e também no louvor erguido ao nosso Grande Deus por nos tornar livres enfim por meio do sacrifício de Cristo Jesus, nosso Glorioso Salvador. Só a Ele toda glória!”
Fiquei refletindo nesse texto que li. O que é uma pedra bruta, no meio do mato, debaixo da terra? Uma pedra preciosa? Pode ser, no caso do ônix. Mas é uma pedra cujo valor não está sendo aproveitado, pois não tem a liberdade de expressar seu valor. Para que possa ter essa liberdade, é trazida para um plano de lapidação, onde é esfregada, polida e, com muito sacrifício e desgaste, passa a fazer os olhos das pessoas brilharem. Note que, nesse processo, estão presentes os elementos: origem, sacrifício, purificação, escolha, representação, valorização, um tipo de elogio ou louvor e, enfim, liberdade.
Encontrei isso na leitura bíblica e em Jesus, afinal o texto de hoje refere-se a Cristo, apesar de estar no Velho Testamento. No Antigo Testamento, existem alguns textos que chamamos de profecias messiânicas. São relatos que, profeticamente, falam de Jesus. Há vários em Isaías. Um deles é o capítulo 62. Um texto que, declaradamente, quando Jesus estava aqui na Terra, Ele o leu, dizendo que falava sobre Ele. Isaías apresenta a Cristo como o servo sofredor: Aquele que sai de sua origem, se submete ao desgaste do sacrifício, por escolha própria, para nos purificar do pecado, sendo nosso representante, que quer nos tornar homens e mulheres livres para louvar Seu nome.
Jesus não é uma joia muito preciosa? Esse servo sofredor se apresenta dizendo que a unção que está sobre Ele é para que anuncie liberdade aos cativos e dê libertação aos prisioneiros que se encontram nas trevas. Sabe quem? Você e eu. A escolha de Deus é nos tirar da condição original de pecado para nos lapidar. Através da purificação do sangue de Jesus, podemos ser representantes da valorização que Deus dá ao ser humano, de torná-lo livre.
Você é uma pedra preciosa para Deus! Aceite Jesus e sinta-se livre!
