`The perfume that ye made in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your heads, and the people of the land, hath not Jehovah remembered it? yea, it cometh up on His heart.

And Jehovah is not able any more to accept [you], because of the evil of your doings, because of the abominations that ye have done, and your land is for a waste, and for an astonishment, and for a reviling, without inhabitant, as [at] this day.

`Because that ye have made perfume, and because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not hearkened to the voice of Jehovah, and in His law, and in His statutes, and in His testimonies ye have not walked, therefore hath this evil met you as [at] this day.`

And Jeremiah saith unto all the people, and unto all the women, `Hear ye a word of Jehovah, all Judah who [are] in the land of Egypt,

Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, saying: Ye and your wives both speak with your mouth, and with your hands have fulfilled, saying: We certainly execute our vows that we have vowed, to make perfume to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out to her libations, ye do certainly establish your vows, and certainly execute your vows.

`Therefore, hear ye a word of Jehovah, all Judah who are dwelling in the land of Egypt: Lo, I -- I have sworn by My great name, said Jehovah, My name is no more proclaimed by the mouth of any man of Judah, saying, Live doth the Lord Jehovah -- in all the land of Egypt.

Lo, I am watching over them for evil, and not for good, and consumed have been all the men of Judah who [are] in the land of Egypt, by sword and by famine, till their consumption.

`And the escaped of the sword turn back out of the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, few in number, and known have all the remnant of Judah who are coming into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, whose word is established, Mine or theirs.

`And this [is] to you the sign -- an affirmation of Jehovah -- that I am seeing after you in this place, so that ye know that My words are certainly established against you for evil;

Thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am giving Pharaoh-Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of those seeking his life, as I have given Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and who is seeking his life.`

“ESCOLHAS ESCOLHIDAS”
Deuteronômio 26-28
Hoje, resolvi escrever o comentário com um objetivo muito claro em mente: pedir que você ore. Por favor, ore por mim, Valdeci Junior, pelo programa “Por Dentro da Bíblia” e por esse ministério da leitura diária da Bíblia inteira em um ano. O objetivo da oração é para que esse ministério continue sendo uma bênção na vida de muitas pessoas.
Peço isso, porque eu estava com a Bíblia aberta em Deuteronômio 26-28, pronto para fazer o comentário, quando recebi uma ligação telefônica. Falei com a irmã Enoi. Ela é uma telespectadora do canal da esperança, que ligou para cá para pedir oração. Essa irmã estava chorando muito porque o casamento dela está à beira do divórcio e queria que orássemos por isso.
Daí, perguntei a ela: “Mas minha irmã, a senhora aceita que a vontade de Deus seja feita em sua vida?” Veja bem que essa não é uma pergunta fácil de responder. Existem muitos cristãos que oram, mas que não querem que a vontade divina prevaleça. Tem gente que pedi “isso” e “aquilo” para Deus, e ponto final. Agir assim é escolher a maldição. Afinal, o que devemos escolher é deixar que Deus faça a vontade dEle na nossa vida.
Fazendo a leitura que apresenta bênçãos e maldições, ouvi da irmã Enoi: “Pode orar nesse sentido por mim, pastor, para que Deus faça a vontade dEle na minha vida, ainda que eu sinta dor.”
Que lindo! Que atitude cristã mais bonita. Baseado no livro de Deuteronômio, disse-lhe: “Pode até ser que venha a doer, minha irmã, mas será por pouco tempo, porque o livro de Deuteronômio mostra que na vida de alguém que escolhe seguir o que Ele pede, Ele transforma a maldição em bênção. “Fique tranquila! Sei que o divorcio é uma desgraça, mas se a senhora escolhe que a vontade de Deus seja feita, Ele cumprirá a promessa de que onde se espalha o pecado, a graça se espalha muito mais. Continue fazendo a escolha certa!”
Então, ela disse que era por isso que escolheu assistir ao canal da esperança, ouvir a voz da esperança.
É! Temos muitas opções neste mundo. Mas qual é a que você escolhe? Assistir a uma mídia que fale de Jesus ou alguma coisa que destrua seu caráter? Ouvir uma rádio que fale de Jesus, ver um site que fale de Jesus, assistir uma tevê que fale de Deus, ler literaturas que falem de Deus? Isso é escolher a bênção. Porque a semente do seu amanhã são as atitude que você toma no dia de hoje. O seu futuro é a colheita do tempo presente. Pense nas suas escolhas.
