MANUFATURAMENTO DIVINO

Outros sintomas: Perda de direção, Emissões vocais sórdidas, Amnésia da origem, Falta de paz e alegria, Comportamento egoísta ou violento, Depressão ou confusão no componente mental, Medo, Idolatria... Creio que a metáfora acima ilustra muito bem o lado tinto, senão vinagreiro, de Romanos. O pecado é um assunto realmente amargo, até na boca de quem gosta, mais cedo ou mais tarde. Para o pregador mais conhecido na Ingleterra na segunda metade do século dezenove, que ficou famoso até hoje por seu conteúdo e veemências proclamados, Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-92), “...há pecado até na nossa santidade, há incredulidade na nossa fé; há ódio no nosso próprio amor; há lama da serpente na mais bela flor do nosso jardim”. Este é o reconhecimento humano mais honesto que pode existir: sou pecador (Salmo 51).
Mas não deve parar por aí. O antigo teólogo São João Crisóstomo já dizia que “pecar é humano, mas perseverar no pecado é diabólico”. Apesar de que os capítulos propostos para hoje não dão a volta para escancarar a podridão do pecado, são também um dos trechos bíblicos mais cheios de esperança. Quer conhecer a restauração? Leia-os! O Autor do Manual lhe aguarda! Permita-Lhe manufaturar-lhe! E você será feliz!
