And when the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem.

Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer up burnt-offerings on it, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.

And they set the altar on its base; for fear was upon them because of the people of the countries; and they offered up burnt-offerings on it to Jehovah, the morning and evening burnt-offerings.

And they held the feast of tabernacles as it is written, and [offered] daily burnt-offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;

and afterwards the continual burnt-offering, and those of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of Jehovah that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a voluntary offering to Jehovah.

From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer up burnt-offerings to Jehovah. But the foundation of the temple of Jehovah was not [yet] laid.

And they gave money to the masons and to the carpenters; and meat and drink and oil to the Zidonians and to the Tyrians, to bring cedar-trees from Lebanon to the sea at Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.

And in the second year of their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that had come out of the captivity to Jerusalem; and they appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to superintend the work of the house of Jehovah.

And Jeshua stood up, his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, as one [man], to superintend the workmen in the house of God; [also] the sons of Henadad, their sons and their brethren, the Levites.

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Jehovah, they set the priests in their apparel, with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise Jehovah according to the directions of David king of Israel.

Isaías 27-29
“Porque é mandamento sobre mandamento, regra sobre regra, um pouco aqui, um pouco ali.” Você já usou esse verso para ensinar sobre algum método de como devemos estudar a Bíblia? Sim? Então, peça perdão a Deus, porque torceu o sentido do texto bíblico. Estou falando isso, porque tem gente que pega Isaías 28:10 para argumentar que a Bíblia está mandando estudar o texto sagrado de forma salpicada, pegando um pedacinho em cada canto para defender uma ideia. Mas, se fosse assim, onde estaria o valor do estudo textual da Palavra de Deus?
É claro que o estudo sistemático da Bíblia é muito importante e que, para estudá-la por assunto, é preciso vasculhá-la para juntar tudo o que ela diz. Mas, por favor, ninguém precisa usar Isaías 28:10 para defender isso. Não precisamos pôr na boca do profeta o que ele não disse. É só lermos o capítulo inteiro, olharmos os versos que vêm antes e depois e veremos que o sentido do texto é exatamente o contrário, uma zombaria.
Como assim? Explico: na realidade, no original hebraico, o que temos são algumas palavras que praticamente não dá para traduzir. É uma verdadeira onomatopéia que, para nós que falamos português, não passa de sons sem sentido: “sav lasav sav lasav / kav lakav kav lakav.” Isso era uma imitação zombadora das palavras do profeta Isaías.
Naquela época, os líderes religiosos não faziam seu trabalho. Viviam bêbados. Nesse caso, o significado de “bêbado” pode, também, indicar cegueira espiritual. Quando Isaías chegou trazendo a mensagem do Senhor, eles começaram a caçoar dele: “O que esse profetinha aí está falando pra lá e pra cá? Um monte de asneira?” Esse é o sentido de Isaías 28:10, uma zombaria que estavam fazendo com a pregação de Isaías.
Inclusive, a ferramenta de Estudo Bíblico Strong deixa claro que isso foi usado em zombaria para arremedar as palavras de Isaías, e não pode, jamais, ser usado como um mandamento divino verdadeiro. Para mim, a melhor tradução dessa imitação onomatopaica das palavras de Isaías (na cabeça deles) seria: “beabá, blá-blá-blá, beabá, blá-blá-blá para todo lado.”
Ou seja, a simplicidade da amorosa mensagem divina estava desprezada. Os bêbados de Judá compararam a mensagem de Isaías como conversa para crianças. A Bíblia na Linguagem de Hoje, que em muitos pontos é uma das Bíblias mais teológicas que temos, traduz o verso com muita alegria, quando diz: “Ele está pensando que nós somos crianças e quer nos ensinar o beabá.” Essa era a triste conclusão dos amigos ouvintes do pregador Isaías que, infelizmente, iriam colher consequências amargas por causa desse desprezo para com as profecias.
