Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer up burnt-offerings on it, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.

And they set the altar on its base; for fear was upon them because of the people of the countries; and they offered up burnt-offerings on it to Jehovah, the morning and evening burnt-offerings.

“NOVAS LÍNGUAS”
Marcos 15-16
“Como entender a promessa de falar ‘novas línguas’ (Marcos 16:17)?”
Esta é uma pergunta freqüente, entre os que são estudiosos da Palavra de Deus, e se colocam como leitores do livro de Marcos. Alberto Ronald Timm, Ph.D., em um de seus artigos, (Revista Sinais dos Tempos, Tatuí – SP - Casa Publicadora Brasileira, Janeiro – Fevereiro de 2000, página 21), nos dá algumas explicações que podem ajudar a encontrar a resposta para este questionamento.
Ele explica que “como o conteúdo de Marcos 16:9-20 não aparece nos manuscritos gregos mais antigos e melhores, especialistas em crítica textual do Novo Testamento têm sugerido que o evangelho de Marcos terminava, originalmente, com o verso 8 do capítulo 16”.
Diante disso, se poderia argumentar que o texto de Marcos 16:17 não compartilha da mesma autoridade canônica que o restante do evangelho.
Mas o teólogo supracitado continua argumentando que, aceitando ou não o conteúdo de Marcos 16:9-20 como parte do Cânon, “é importante observar que, na expressão ‘novas línguas’ de Marcos 16:17, o termo original grego para ‘novas’ é ‘kainós (novas línguas para quem fala)’ e não ‘néos’ (línguas até então desconhecidas)”. Isso significa, portanto que essas “novas línguas” dizem respeito às mesmas línguas de nações mencionadas em Atos 2:4 como “outras línguas”, plenamente compreensíveis às respectivas pessoas que as reconhecem como suas línguas maternas (Atos 2:6,8 e 11).
O fato de Marcos 16:17 colocar o dom de falar em “novas línguas” como parte dos “sinais” que haveriam de acompanhar aqueles que cressem, não significa que esse dom deveria ser concedido a todos os crentes em todas as épocas e lugares. Assim como os cristãos não haveriam, obviamente, de pegar “em serpentes” todo o tempo (verso 18), também não é de se esperar que eles devessem falar sempre em “novas línguas”. Além disso, Paulo esclarece que o dom de línguas é dado apenas a alguns crentes, havendo uma necessidade concreta que justifique a sua manifestação (ver 1Coríntios 12:4-11, 28-30).
Ou seja, “falarão novas línguas” seria uma ação-ferramenta usada para a grande realização descrita no verso vinte de Marcos 16: “Então, os discípulos saíram e pregaram por toda parte; e o Senhor cooperava com eles, confirmando a palavra com os sinais que a acompanhavam”. “Pregaram por toda a parte” do mundo alcançado de então: desde a sua Palestina local, onde poderiam falar aramaico, até as mais distantes nações, onde precisaram falar os respectivos idiomas: novas línguas. Deus os capacitou!
Se você também quiser pregar o evangelho, limitação não é o problema. Deus completa a sua vontade com a capacitação que só Ele pode oferecer. Ofereça-se a Ele, como um obreiro disposto, e Ele lhe usará.
