|Esdras 3:1|
And the seventh month cometh, and the sons of Israel [are] in the cities, and the people are gathered, as one men, unto Jerusalem.

|Esdras 3:2|
And rise doth Jeshua son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and they build the altar of the God of Israel, to cause to ascend upon it burnt-offerings, as it is written in the law of Moses, the man of God.

|Esdras 3:3|
And they establish the altar on its bases, because of the fear upon them of the peoples of the lands, and he causeth burnt-offerings to ascend upon it to Jehovah, burnt-offerings for the morning and for the evening.

And they make the feast of the booths as it is written, and the burnt-offering of the day daily in number according to the ordinance, the matter of a day in its day;

|Esdras 3:5|
and after this a continual burnt-offering, and for new moons, and for all appointed seasons of Jehovah that are sanctified; and for every one who is willingly offering a willing-offering to Jehovah.

From the first day of the seventh month they have begun to cause burnt-offerings to ascend to Jehovah, and the temple of Jehovah hath not been founded,

and they give money to hewers and to artificers, and food, and drink, and oil to Zidonians and to Tyrians, to bring in cedar-trees from Lebanon unto the sea of Joppa, according to the permission of Cyrus king of Persia concerning them.

And in the second year of their coming in unto the house of God, to Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all those coming from the captivity to Jerusalem, and they appoint the Levites from a son of twenty years and upward, to overlook the work of the house of Jehovah.

And Jeshua standeth, [and] his sons, and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, sons of Judah together, to overlook those doing the work in the house of God; the sons of Henadad, [and] their sons and their brethren the Levites.

And those building have founded the temple of Jehovah, and they appoint the priests, clothed, with trumpets, and the Levites, sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, by means of [the instruments of] David king of Israel.

O QUE REPRESENTA?
2Tessalonicenses
O irmão Antonio Marcos foi questionado pelo site bibliaonline.net sobre o que o livro de 2Tessalonicenses significaria para ele. E ele respondeu o seguinte:
“Paulo chama a atenção de seu povo em tessalônica para o fato de que, antes de qualquer coisa, devemos dar Graças a Deus, a nós mesmos e aos irmãos, independentemente de qualquer preceito humano, social ou mesmo de crença humana”. Para o Antonio Marcos, “temos a obrigação de nos fortalecermos na nossa fé, primeiro amando Deus sobre todas as coisas, com todo o nosso entendimento e nosso espírito, depois aos nossos irmãos incondicionalmente, com a nos mesmos”.
Mas, na opinião deste irmão, é aí que “reside o grande obstáculo do Amor e da Caridade pregados por Jesus. Paulo disse àquela sociedade que amar a Deus é até fácil, buscarmos com fé a graça não é difícil, mas, amar ao próximo com caridade era, talvez, o maior obstáculo, numa sociedade exclusivista e constituída por “castas” sociais. Sem superar isso, não alcançamos a graça necessária para nos dar a Salvação”.
O internauta Aroldo Costa fez um comentário no site bibliaonline.net, que complementa o pensamento do amigo Antonio Marcos. O Aroldo costa destacou 2Tessalonicenses 3:13 que diz assim: “Quanto a vocês, irmãos, nunca se cansem de fazer o bem”. E comenta o seguinte: “Se me perguntassem: ‘Qual a conclusão que você tiraria hoje desta passagem de 2Tessalonicenses 1-3?’, com certeza, eu responderia: “Não vos canseis de fazer o bem”.
Interessante. Todos os comentários que recebi, sobre 2Tessalonicenses, enfatizaram este tópico: fazer o bem ao próximo. O Costa continua comentando: “Como há irmãos na fé precisando que outro irmão na fé faça-lhe o bem”. Como? “Há irmãos na fé que, por motivos de fraqueza ou cansaço, estão se sentido fracos, precisando de apoio espiritual e moral. “É necessário que outros irmãos na fé não se esqueçam que o irmão está fraquejando, e vão fazer-lhe o bem, talvez, fazendo uma visita, orando por ele, estendendo-lhe a mão. Sim, meu querido irmão”, apela Aroldo Costa, “nesse momento, existe muitos irmãos na fé precisando de você. Precisando que você desça do seu trono espiritual e vá apoiá-los. Ouça a palavra de hoje. É isso!”:
“Quanto a vocês, irmãos, nunca se cansem de fazer o bem”
E o apelo que esse paranaense deixa é o seguinte: “Entre em espírito de oração, nesse exato momento, ore pelos irmãos, a propósito, ore por mim também. Tenha a certeza de que há muitos irmãos necessitando desse bem precioso que vai ajudá-los muito nessa caminhada com Cristo.
“Faça o bem!”
