|Esdras 3:1|
And the seventh month cometh, and the sons of Israel [are] in the cities, and the people are gathered, as one men, unto Jerusalem.

|Esdras 3:2|
And rise doth Jeshua son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and they build the altar of the God of Israel, to cause to ascend upon it burnt-offerings, as it is written in the law of Moses, the man of God.

|Esdras 3:3|
And they establish the altar on its bases, because of the fear upon them of the peoples of the lands, and he causeth burnt-offerings to ascend upon it to Jehovah, burnt-offerings for the morning and for the evening.

|Esdras 3:4|
And they make the feast of the booths as it is written, and the burnt-offering of the day daily in number according to the ordinance, the matter of a day in its day;

|Esdras 3:5|
and after this a continual burnt-offering, and for new moons, and for all appointed seasons of Jehovah that are sanctified; and for every one who is willingly offering a willing-offering to Jehovah.

From the first day of the seventh month they have begun to cause burnt-offerings to ascend to Jehovah, and the temple of Jehovah hath not been founded,

and they give money to hewers and to artificers, and food, and drink, and oil to Zidonians and to Tyrians, to bring in cedar-trees from Lebanon unto the sea of Joppa, according to the permission of Cyrus king of Persia concerning them.

And in the second year of their coming in unto the house of God, to Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all those coming from the captivity to Jerusalem, and they appoint the Levites from a son of twenty years and upward, to overlook the work of the house of Jehovah.

And Jeshua standeth, [and] his sons, and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, sons of Judah together, to overlook those doing the work in the house of God; the sons of Henadad, [and] their sons and their brethren the Levites.

And those building have founded the temple of Jehovah, and they appoint the priests, clothed, with trumpets, and the Levites, sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, by means of [the instruments of] David king of Israel.

Isaías 30-33
Ai, ai, ai, ai, ai... É o que um leitor superficial pode pensar, quando folhear a Bíblia nas páginas da leitura de hoje. Há uma porção de “ais”: Ai da cidade de Davi. Ai de Efraim. Ai contra a nação obstinada, ai dos que confiam no Egito, e por aí vai... Na realidade, no livro de Isaías, temos sete ais.
E o que eles significam? Se buscarmos na língua portuguesa, seja numa gramática ou dicionário, a palavra ai é uma interjeição que designa a dor. O ai representa a dor. Então, geralmente usamos “ai” em formato de grito, nem que seja baixinho. Às vezes, gritamos por alegria também, mas é mais difícil.
Na Bíblia, a palavra ai tem esse sentido de dor, não tanto como uma interjeição, mas como uma advertência. Cada vez que você ler essa palavra, principalmente nos títulos, ela aparece mais como advertência. Esse é o sentido. Ela é uma palavra usada para advertir as pessoas quanto aos prováveis sofrimentos futuros que elas estavam para enfrentar. Aqui, é como se o profeta estivesse dizendo: “Vocês estão cometendo tais e tais ações hoje, e então, amanhã terão que sofrer as respectivas consequências de todas elas.”
Ao fazer sua leitura bíblica de hoje, tire varias lições para sua vida, inclusive, a lição de que temos que levar as coisas muito a sério, quando paramos para pensar no que o amanhã nos reserva. Já parou para refletir a respeito? O que o amanhã reserva para você?
Quando começa ou começará seu futuro? Às vezes, quando as pessoas se deparam com esses questionamentos, infelizmente, elas já estão “comendo poeira”. O futuro para aquelas pessoas a quem o profeta Isaías proferiu os “sete ais” inegociavelmente chegou. Para algumas pessoas, até demorou um pouquinho mais, mas chegou. Agora, o futuro de outras pessoas que eram tão jovens não demorou praticamente nada e bum!!! Chegou! No entanto, muitas vezes o futuro chega para nós muito antes que imaginamos, não é verdade?
Não estou referindo-me só ao fato de morrer antes do tempo, mas de receber um peso de responsabilidade antes do que se espera; de perder alguém, de passar por uma crise, antes que se espere. Como podemos nos precaver sobre isso? Você sabe?
O povo, os companheiros de Isaías, foram pegos com as “calças curtas” porque não deram ouvido à Palavra de Deus. Mas, você não precisa repetir aquela sinistra história. Ainda há tempo para dedicar-se a dar ouvidos ao Livro Sagrado.
Então, use todas as oportunidades que você tiver para ficar ligado na Palavra de Deus, ficar “Por Dentro da Bíblia”. Tenha uma experiência única: você e Deus!
