|Esdras 3:1|
And the seventh month cometh, and the sons of Israel [are] in the cities, and the people are gathered, as one men, unto Jerusalem.

|Esdras 3:2|
And rise doth Jeshua son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and they build the altar of the God of Israel, to cause to ascend upon it burnt-offerings, as it is written in the law of Moses, the man of God.

|Esdras 3:3|
And they establish the altar on its bases, because of the fear upon them of the peoples of the lands, and he causeth burnt-offerings to ascend upon it to Jehovah, burnt-offerings for the morning and for the evening.

|Esdras 3:4|
And they make the feast of the booths as it is written, and the burnt-offering of the day daily in number according to the ordinance, the matter of a day in its day;

|Esdras 3:5|
and after this a continual burnt-offering, and for new moons, and for all appointed seasons of Jehovah that are sanctified; and for every one who is willingly offering a willing-offering to Jehovah.

From the first day of the seventh month they have begun to cause burnt-offerings to ascend to Jehovah, and the temple of Jehovah hath not been founded,

and they give money to hewers and to artificers, and food, and drink, and oil to Zidonians and to Tyrians, to bring in cedar-trees from Lebanon unto the sea of Joppa, according to the permission of Cyrus king of Persia concerning them.

And in the second year of their coming in unto the house of God, to Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all those coming from the captivity to Jerusalem, and they appoint the Levites from a son of twenty years and upward, to overlook the work of the house of Jehovah.

And Jeshua standeth, [and] his sons, and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, sons of Judah together, to overlook those doing the work in the house of God; the sons of Henadad, [and] their sons and their brethren the Levites.

And those building have founded the temple of Jehovah, and they appoint the priests, clothed, with trumpets, and the Levites, sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, by means of [the instruments of] David king of Israel.

REESPERANÇA
JÓ 18-19
Ontem, comentei sobre os desesperançados. E desesperança não é o mesmo que desespero. Você é um esperançoso, desesperançado ou desesperado? Jó estava desesperançado, mas não desesperado. Ele não via luz no fim do túnel, mas continuou com os pés no chão, firme, esperando para ver o que iria acontecer.
Jesus viveu isso quando estava no Getsemani. A angústia de Cristo era tão grande, que Ele não conseguia enxergar nada além daquele sofrimento e do fim dEle, a morte. Teoricamente, sabia que iria ressuscitar, mas naquela altura da senda, era como se tivesse uma cortina em Sua frente, formando uma zona cinzenta, que não lhe permitia ver mais nada. Então, Ele orou: “Pai, se possível, passa de mim esse cálice.” De certa forma, o mesmo aconteceu com Elias quando correu para o deserto, com medo de Jezabel. Ele sabia que o Deus poderoso estava ao seu lado e não precisaria ter medo. Mas na hora da angústia, não conseguiu enxergar nitidamente. Isso pode acontecer com o cristão. Embora não sendo o ideal planejado por Deus, o cristão, mesmo tendo a teoria da esperança na mente, pode passar pelo conflito da desesperança.
Um exemplo é o caso de um cristão que sofre de depressão. Existem muitas pessoas boas que ainda não compreendem ou saibam lidar com esses casos. Aí, quando alguém tem depressão, quer fazer exorcismo ou falar para o depressivo que ele precisa ter fé como se essa doença fosse um problema espiritual. Isso é um absurdo!
Se não entende bem sobre o assunto ou tem dificuldade de lidar com alguém que está com depressão e você não sabe o que fazer, recomendo que leia o livro “Por que algumas pessoas sofrem de depressão?”, escrito por Marcelo Aguiar, da Editora Betânia. O livro ajuda os cristãos a entender que um irmão pode passar pela depressão, que é um tipo de desesperança, também, mas que não precisa ser o fim. Se você se sente depressivo, desesperançado, saiba que isso pode, deve, e em nome de Jesus, vai passar!
No caso de Jó, passou. “Eu sei que o meu redentor vive, e que no fim se levantará sobre a terra. E depois que o meu corpo estiver destruído e sem carne, verei a Deus. Eu o verei com os meus próprios olhos; eu mesmo, e não outro. Como anseia no meu peito o coração!” Essas sim, são palavras cheias de esperança.
Então, mesmo que você passe por uma tristeza profunda, não se culpe por sofrer de depressão. Deus sabe que você é um ser humano e que sofre. Tenha em mente que, apesar de sentir-se desesperançado, não deve perder a esperança.
