The word which came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all the captives of Jerusalem and Judah, that were carried away captive unto Babylon.

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, Jehovah thy God pronounced this evil upon this place;

and Jehovah hath brought it, and done according as he spake: because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which are upon thy hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come, and I will look well unto thee; but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee; whither it seemeth good and right unto thee to go, thither go.

Now while he was not yet gone back, Go back then, [said he], to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people; or go wheresoever it seemeth right unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a present, and let him go.

Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah, and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

Now when all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poorest of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, [to wit], Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.

And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to stand before the Chaldeans that shall come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine and summer fruits and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.

SALMOS 86-89
Acabei de receber, ler e orar por uma mensagem que veio pela internet, um e-mail. É que sou cadastrado no site www.bibliaonline.net como intercessor. Ou seja, nesse site tem um lugar em que podemos nos cadastrar para receber pedidos de oração e orar por eles. Muitas outras pessoas entram em sites como www.lugardepaz.com.br, www.jesusvoltara.com.br, www.esperanca.com.br e fazem seus pedidos. Então, os milhares pedidos de oração que são feitos neles são distribuídos para os colaboradores do BibliaOnLine, a fim de que a intercessão seja feita. Como colaborador intercessor, recebo um e-mail semanal com alguns desses pedidos. Há pouco tempo, recebi o e-mail com os pedidos, abri e estava lendo e orando pela necessidade de cada uma das pessoas. É um ministério de oração intercessória. Orar uns pelos outros nos faz muito bem.
É interessante ver como Deus guia as coisas. A atividade que fiz antes de dedicar esse tempo orando por esses amigos internautas foi justamente fazer a leitura bíblica de hoje. Ao ler os versos, não conseguia me segurar sem orar. Incrível! Parecia que muitas das palavras dos salmistas eram palavras minhas. Enquanto ia lendo, meio que pensando, meio que dizendo assim: “É, Senhor, é isso mesmo que estou sentindo! Essa é minha necessidade. Sou eu falando Contigo. Meu Deus, é desse jeito que o vejo, é dessa forma que o louvo”, eu ia me identificando com os salmistas nas orações deles. Ao terminar a leitura, pensei que devem existir outras pessoas que também fazem isso.
Você já fez isso alguma vez? Ler um salmo, que é uma oração a Deus, e se identificar com ele? Dá impressão que as palavras dele servem como palavras suas para Deus. Sem perceber, ao invés de apenas ler, começa a orar ao mesmo tempo? Fiquei pensando que isso já deve ter acontecido com alguns, mas com muita gente não. Imagino a quantidade de pessoas que perdem a oportunidade de ter essa intimidade com Deus porque não leem a Bíblia. Ah, se as pessoas lessem a Bíblia! Não seria uma bênção se as pessoas ficassem mais “Por Dentro da Bíblia”?
Fico olhando para esses salmistas, os autores dos salmos, e fico olhando para esses internautas, que escrevem seus pedidos de oração. Como são parecidos! Como somos parecidos! Você, eles e eu. Somos filhos de Deus que sofrem, mas que, ao mesmo tempo, esperam uma resposta do Senhor. Embora cansados, seguimos lutando, olhando para esse Deus, na esperança de que o que ainda temos é Ele que tem sustentado.
E aí questiono: Até quando, Senhor? E eu mesmo respondo: Até o dia em que estivermos todos juntos, felizes, lá no Céu. Amém!
