The word which came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all the captives of Jerusalem and Judah, that were carried away captive unto Babylon.

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, Jehovah thy God pronounced this evil upon this place;

and Jehovah hath brought it, and done according as he spake: because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which are upon thy hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come, and I will look well unto thee; but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee; whither it seemeth good and right unto thee to go, thither go.

Now while he was not yet gone back, Go back then, [said he], to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people; or go wheresoever it seemeth right unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a present, and let him go.

Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah, and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

Now when all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poorest of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, [to wit], Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.

And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to stand before the Chaldeans that shall come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine and summer fruits and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.

Cantares 01-04
Mais uma vez, convido-lhe a entrarmos de cabeça no conhecimento bíblico, pelo texto agendado para hoje. Deve-nos ser um prazer muito grande, estudarmos um escrito tão sagrado, que é, realmente, a Palavra de Deus. E por falar em prazer, hoje e amanhã nos atentaremos a algo que tem tudo a ver com prazer. Trata-se de uma grande música secular, ou uma coletânea musical secular, porque um dos objetivos de fazer música é para o prazer. Essa música fala do prazer da paixão, do prazer do amor, do prazer do sexo dentro do casamento e do prazer do romance. Gosto dessa coleção de cânticos.
Estou falando de Cantares ou Cântico dos Cânticos. Na realidade, esse título é quase um estrangeirismo. Se fôssemos traduzir do hebraico para o português ao pé da letra, significaria literalmente “o melhor, ou o mais belo, de todos os cânticos”. Poderia ter o título de “o cantar por excelência”. Assim é esse livro repleto de amor. É dividido em seis poemas ou cânticos, que tomam uma forma de um diálogo entre o amante e a amante, com algumas intervenções ocasionais de um grupo de acompanhantes, talvez um tipo de coral.
Nesse livro poético, Salomão considera uma necessidade fundamental que os seres humanos têm (de amor e intimidade), de uma forma muito bonita. O sábio escritor vai revelando a perspectiva que o Céu e o próprio Deus têm sobre a sexualidade humana com sendo um dom concedido pelo próprio Senhor, na Criação. Então, esse livro descreve, nos termos mais delicados possíveis daquela época e contexto, a paixão, a ternura e as delícias da relação conjugal. Não se trata de uma revelação apenas dos pensamentos dos apaixonados, mas também os sentimentos mais íntimos, as ansiedades dos noivinhos, os temores dos nubentes em lua-de-mel, as lutas do casal e até os contatos físicos.
Além disso, percebemos que Cantares é mais que um poema sobre paixão e casamento. É um livro bíblico que trata também das dimensões do amor no círculo mais amplo da família: o amor entre os pais e os filhos, entre os amigos e até entre colegas de trabalho. Acima de tudo, Cantares nos ajuda a entender melhor a íntima relação que existe entre o ser humano e Jesus, no sentido mais amplo da união da igreja com o seu Senhor.
Então, se você deseja:
• Suprir as necessidades da sua própria alma, com uma melodia sensível;
• Unir a sua “voz” em perfeita harmonia com outro ser humano;
• Compreender o romance espiritual entre Cristo e a Igreja;
As leituras bíblicas de hoje e amanhã são para você. É pra se apaixonar!
