In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, Ahaz the son of Jotham, king of Judah, began to reign.

Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not what was right in the sight of Jehovah his God, like David his father,

At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath; and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there to this day.

And Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who have risen up against me.

And Ahaz took the silver and the gold that was found in the house of Jehovah, and in the treasures of the king's house, and sent it [as] a present to the king of Assyria.

And the king of Assyria hearkened to him; and the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried it captive to Kir, and put Rezin to death.

And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria; and he saw the altar that was at Damascus, and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the form of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all its workmanship.

RABISCADANDO A BÍBLIA
Mateus 01-04
Estou com minha Bíblia aberta. Toda riscada, rabiscada e re-rabiscada. Bíblia bonita é bíblica assim. Ao mesmo tempo, um sinal de que já foi estudada, e uma fonte para um bom próximo estudo. Já estudei minha Bíblia algumas vezes. Pretendo continuar sempre. E quero compartilhar os meus estudos com você, para que você também cresça nos seus estudos. Portanto, transcrevo aqui, o que, em minha Bíblia, tenho anotado ao lado de alguns versos, dentro do trecho da leitura de hoje.
1:1 – “filho de Abraão”; Esta expressão é um cumprimento de Gênesis 22:18.
1:18; 20 e 21 – “Jesus Cristo”; “Espírito Santo”; Somando estas duas expressões ao conteúdo de João 3:16, temos, no evento da encarnação, a presença da trindade (ver também Lucas 1:35).
1:21 – A divindade de Jesus, encarnada. Esta encarnação foi para nos salvar do pecado.
1:22 – “para que se cumprisse” o que já estava escrito em Isaías 7:14.
2:5-6 – “Pois assim escreveu o profeta” Miquéias (5:2).
3:3 – “o Senhor [Jesus]”; Esta citação é de Isaías 40:3, por cujo original hebraico podemos ler Jesus como Jeová, atestando assim a sua divindade.
3:11 – “batizo com água”; Este “com” poderia ser traduzido também como “em”, “na”. Essa possibilidade da língua original ajuda a determinar que o batismo realmente é por imersão.
3:11 – “batizará com o Espírito Santo”; Em conexão com o batismo de Jess, mostra o quanto o batismo nas águas é sagrado, pois é seguido pelo batismo do Espírito Santo. Compare, em sequência, por exemplo, Atos 1:5 e 8 com Atos 3:8. Veja Colossenses 3:1-2: para ser batizado tem que mostrar os frutos.
3:13-17 – O Batismo de Jesus; Ele o fez para dar-nos o exemplo (compare com Mateus 28:18-20 e Lucas 3:21-22).
3:13-15 – Jesus se apresentou.
3:16 – O Espírito Santo deu cobertura.
3:17 – O Pai deu estímuilo.
Pelas três linhas acima, vemos a trindade unida em relacionamento funcional.
3:17 – “este é o meu Filho” é uma expressão cerimonial para entronação, que seria a função do ministério da vida de Jesus. Isto pode ser melhor entendido em comparação com Hebreus 5:5 e Salmo 2:7.
4:4 – “Está escrito: ‘Nem só de pão viverá o homem, mas de toda a palavra que procede da boca de Deus’ (cf. Deuteronômio 8:3)”. Compare este verso com 1Coríntios 10:16-17. No contexto da Santa Ceia, “comer a carne” é similar à Sua Palavra.
Fica aqui, então, algumas sugestões de rabiscos para sua Bíblia. Isto lhe será muito útil, não somente para o estudo de hoje, mas, principalmente, para estudos posteriores.
“Procure apresentar-se a Deus aprovado, como obreiro que não tem do que se envergonhar e que maneja corretamente a palavra da verdade (2Timóteo 2:15)”.
