|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

|Lamentações 2:3|
In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

|Lamentações 2:5|
The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

The elders of the Daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.

FIM DO LIVRO DE NÚMEROS
Números 35-36
O autor Mário Quintana escreveu: “A vida é o dever que nós trouxemos para fazer em casa. Quando se vê, já são seis horas! Quando se vê, já é sexta-feira. Quando se vê, já terminou o ano... Quando se vê, perdemos o amor da nossa vida. Quando se vê, já se passaram 50 anos! Agora é tarde demais para ser reprovado. Se me fosse dado, um dia, outra oportunidade, eu nem olhava o relógio. Seguiria sempre em frente e iria jogando, pelo caminho, a casca dourada e inútil das horas. Desta forma, eu digo: não deixe de fazer algo de que gosta devido a falta de tempo; a única falta que terá, será desse tempo que infelizmente não voltará mais.”
Esse pensamento está ligado com o recado que quero dar para você hoje. Aliás, um apelo. Quando vemos, o dia já passou, e nos pegamos ser ter lido a Bíblia. Isso não é triste?
Fazer a leitura da Bíblia em um ano não é para qualquer um. Muitos até querem, mas quando veem, vários dias passaram e a leitura fica super atrasada. Quando percebem, também já passou o ano e mais uma derrota: não conseguiu concluir o projeto de ler a Bíblia diariamente. É mais triste e nostálgico que esse poema do Mário Quintana. É vergonhoso!
Mas nem só de vergonhas precisa viver o ser humano. O povo de Israel ficou viajando, viajando, viajando pelo deserto, e quando viram, já havia passado quarenta anos! Perda de tempo? Não! Nessa parada, quando eles perceberam, já estavam na terra de Canaã, a terra prometida! Era o sonho, que eles, como povo, alimentavam a mais de trezentos anos! E agora, eles estavam ali, na geração deles, sendo os conquistadores. Repartindo a herança, recebendo as instruções para nova vida, desfrutando da recompensa! Que coisa fantástica!
Olhando aí “Por Dentro da Bíblia”, no nosso plano de leitura diária, quando menos percebemos, terminamos o livro de Números! Você viu só? Hoje, lemos os capítulos 35-36 e pronto. Se seguirmos o plano que Deus nos dá, acontece assim: quando nem percebemos, temos o satisfatório sentimento de mais uma tarefa concluída. Se você é fiel em parar para fazer sua leitura, quando você menos percebe, já se passaram vinte, trinta minutinhos, e você terminou o seu ano bíblico. Se você é fiel em fazer isso todos os dias, quando você menos percebe, já leu toda a Bíblia. Ou, pelo menos até o livro de Números.
Compensa seguir a jornada que Deus nos dá, porque quando vemos, já estamos repartindo a herança e recebendo nossa parte da bênção. Que seu dia seja abençoado!
