|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

|Lamentações 2:2|
Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

|Lamentações 2:3|
In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

|Lamentações 2:5|
The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

The elders of the Daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.

SALMOS 72-77
Ao iniciar o comentário de hoje, quero parabenizar você por ser uma pessoa que se interessa em estar sempre por dentro da Bíblia. Quero lembrar-lhe que quem procura estar em comunhão com o Senhor Deus através da Sua Palavra só tem a ganhar. Em nosso programa anual de leitura diária da Bíblia, você tem a oportunidade de fazer isso de uma forma bem interessante: lendo a Bíblia, um pouquinho a cada dia, e tendo o privilégio de chegar ao fim do ano e dizer: “Eu li a Bíblia inteirinha neste ano!” Amém!? Oh, glória!
Então, vamos começar nossa reflexão sobre a leitura bíblica de hoje com o Salmo 72, que é um salmo de Salomão. Além de Davi, muitos outros escreveram salmos, inclusive, seu filho. Como diz o ditado: “Filho de peixe, peixinho é.” Confira aí na sua Bíblia as palavras lindas do sábio.
A seguir, no Salmo 73, entramos no terceiro livro da subdivisão do livro dos Salmos. É um cântico dos filhos da família de Asafe, um músico do povo de Deus. Todos os outros salmos da leitura de hoje também foram criados por eles. E sabe por que eles conseguiam produzir tanta coisa boa e útil assim? Porque estavam sintonizados com a Palavra de Deus, que eles tinham na época. Ou seja, se fosse em nossos dias, poderíamos dizer que eles estavam sempre “Por Dentro da Bíblia”. E aplicando ainda mais para a nossa realidade, lembrei de uma história que ilustra muito bem o que estou querendo lhe dizer.
Certa vez, um jovem crente se preparava para uma viagem. Quando seu amigo veio buscá-lo, perguntou-lhe:
- Já arrumou suas coisas? Vamos? Está tudo pronto?
- Quase - respondeu ele - só falta pôr mais umas coisinhas na mala, e começou a ler uma lista: um mapa, uma lâmpada, uma bússola, um espelho, alguns livros de poesia, algumas biografias, uma coletânea de cartas antigas, um livro de cânticos, um livro de histórias, um prumo, um martelo, uma espada, um capacete...
A essas alturas, o amigo já estava apavorado:
- Mas, cara, o carro já está cheio, não vai dar para você levar tudo isso!
- Acalme-se, está tudo aqui - e mostrou-lhe sua Bíblia.
Você entendeu a moral da história? A Bíblia é simplesmente indispensável para a sobrevivência da nossa vida espiritual cristã. Sua leitura é básica. Não tem como adiar, nem como deixar de lado. Por isso, não perca mais tempo. Vá para seu cantinho especial, pegue sua Bíblia e leia o salmo de Salomão e os cinco salmos da família do grande músico Asafe.
