|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

|Lamentações 2:2|
Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

|Lamentações 2:3|
In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

|Lamentações 2:5|
The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

|Lamentações 2:7|
The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

|Lamentações 2:9|
Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

The elders of the Daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.

Números 31-32
E aí, como vai a luta? Difícil? Ou você está vencendo? Já viu aquele ditado que diz que “a vida é dura para quem é mole e que a vida é mole para quem é duro?” Não concordo com ele, pelo menos plenamente. Muitas vezes, a vida é injusta. Existem muitas pessoas boas que tentam ser “duras”, mas não conseguem vencer, ao passo que tem muito canalha que se dá bem na vida. Não adianta nos iludirmos porque isso acontece sim. Vivemos em um mundo imperfeito, destruído pelo pecado. Se não acontecesse, bons soldados nunca morreriam na guerra, lutando.
Na nossa leitura de hoje, encontramos muitas lutas. Há a vingança contra os midianitas e o compromisso do pessoal das tribos de Rúben e Gade de serem fiéis, mantendo-se ao lado dos irmãos israelitas deles, lutando até o fim. Eles lutavam por Deus, pela Sua causa, com Deus, em nome dEle, para defender Sua vontade, vencer o pecado e estabelecer Seu reino na Terra. Não era injusto fazer isso. Deus dava o tempo de misericórdia através desse mesmo povo, desses mesmos israelitas. Se você folhear algumas páginas anteriores, verá que há algum tempo, os midianitas, por muito tempo, tiveram a oportunidade de arrependimento deles, mas não quiseram. Então, o mal que não se arrepende e não quer se render ao bem precisa ser banido para que o caos não prevaleça. Concorda?
Nessa mesma história, vemos que ninguém precisa se desesperar com as possíveis injustiças que ocorrem na vida. Para vencer na luta da vida, o que precisa não é ser duro, mas sim dependente. A vida pode ser dura para quem é mole ou duro, mas não tem como ser destrutiva ou injusta para quem depende de Deus, porque Ele é o justo juiz. Por isso, o que mais encontramos nas promessas dos lutadores de Números 32 é que eles lutariam perante o Senhor, com o Senhor, ao lado do Senhor. Portanto, não há razão de desespero. Por mais que o mal apareça, por mais que pareça os próprios irmãos lhe abandonarão, por mais que a luta esteja sendo difícil, por mais que a vida pareça dura, ela não será injusta e destrutiva, se você decidir entregar as batalhas da vida nas mãos de Deus, se resolver travar sua luta perante Ele e se render como um ser dependente do poder Divino. Dessa forma, não há batalha que não possa ser vencida, em nome de Jesus.
Dependa de Deus, permanecendo na comunhão que Ele oferece, juntamente com os filhos do Senhor, nos planos que Ele já traçou para você seguir. Fique no esquema divino! E viva em paz!
