|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

|Lamentações 2:2|
Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

|Lamentações 2:3|
In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

|Lamentações 2:5|
The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

|Lamentações 2:6|
He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

The elders of the Daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.

SALMOS 140-144
Em alta voz, você clama ao Senhor; eleva sua voz a Ele, suplicando misericórdia. Derrama diante dEle seu lamento e apresenta sua angústia. Quando seu espírito desanima, é Deus quem conhece o caminho que você deve seguir. Na vereda por onde anda, esconderam uma armadilha contra você. Talvez você olhe para sua direita e veja que ninguém esteja se preocupando. Aí, você diz: “Não tenho abrigo seguro; ninguém se importa com a minha vida!” Daí, você clama ao Senhor, reconhecendo, e dizendo que Ele é seu refúgio; que é tudo o que tem na terra dos viventes. Peça para que Deus dê atenção ao seu clamor, justamente pelo fato de estar muito abatido. Se você fizer isso, pedir para o Senhor livrar-lhe dos que lhe perseguem, por eles serem mais fortes do que você, se pedir para Deus libertá-lo da prisão, para render graças ao Seu nome, os justos se reunirão à sua volta, por causa da bondade de Deus para com você.
Você está pensando que essas palavras são minhas? Não mesmo! Tudo o que escrevi são, simplesmente, as palavras do Salmo 142, parafraseadas. E, cá pra nós, elas não têm tudo a ver com você? Por mais que achemos ser uma coisa distante, tendo o hábito de ler a Bíblia diariamente, a verdade é que o conteúdo do texto bíblico pode estar mais perto de nós e da nossa realidade que imaginamos. Deus nos ama muito e quer estar perto de nós. E um dos meios para que isso aconteça é através da leitura, do contato com Sua Palavra, a carta de amor que Ele nos deixou.
O salmo que parafraseei no início do comentário é apenas um dos cinco salmos lindos, propostos para nossa leitura. E o meu desafio para você é que faça paráfrases desses salmos. Você sabe o que é paráfrase? É reescrever uma mensagem com outras palavras; é dizer a mesma coisa, mudando o vocabulário, numa adaptação prática. Essa adaptação tem o objetivo de fazer uma aplicação melhor do texto, sem mudar a interpretação original dele. E aí, você encara o desafio? Pegue uma folha de papel, uma caneta, abra a Bíblia no Salmo 140 e vá lendo-o e reescrevendo o mesmo para uma realidade mais próxima de você.
Vou lhe ajudar com mais um exemplo, agora aplicado no Salmo 143. Vamos orar? “Senhor Deus, por favor, ouça a oração desse meu amigo leitor. Dê ouvidos à sua súplica, e responda-o, por Tua fidelidade e por Tua justiça. Estenda as Tuas mãos para essa pessoa que está lendo esta prece, porque como a terra árida, ela tem sede de Ti.” Amém, Senhor!
