“People have heard my groaning, but there is no-one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so that they may become like me.

|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

|Lamentações 2:3|
In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

|Lamentações 2:5|
The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

|Lamentações 2:6|
He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

|Lamentações 2:7|
The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

Ezequiel 11-13
“Darei a eles um coração não dividido e porei um novo espírito dentro deles; retirarei deles todo o coração de pedra e lhes darei um coração de carne”.
Sabe o quê que isto pode estar lhe dizendo? Que “Deus tem um lindo plano para você.”
Deus tem um plano para cada um de nós.
As pessoas não enxergam isso porque o maior problema das relações humanas são a falta, ou a distorção, do amor. Como um coração de pedra poderá ter a capacidade de dar e receber amor, se está revestido de um material tão rígido? O amor precisa encontrar caminhos suaves, para conseguir ir e vir com suavidade. Ninguém jamais amou, ama ou amará absolutamente sem, antes, ter recebido amor. E é por isso que precisamos desesperadamente de Deus, pois Ele é a fonte do amor. Caso contrário, o amor acaba. Mas, no plano de Deus, quem dá amor sente-o mais do quem o recebe. Por outro lado, quando a única desculpa para não amarmos é o medo, devemos lembrar-nos de que Deus não é o originador do medo. Precisamos de Deus.
Olhe para o que Deus promete. Você se sente seco de amor? Seu coração está como aqueles solos arenosos, pedregosos, quentes, ásperos e enrijecidos, por falta de chuva? Escute o Senhor dizendo: “Darei a eles um coração não dividido e porei um novo espírito dentro deles; retirarei deles todo o coração de pedra e lhes darei um coração de carne”. É isto que o papai do Céu quer fazer com você. Ele quer encher o seu coração da fertilidade, da maciez e da suavidade do amor. Por que não aceitar?
O coração nunca explode por excesso de amor; mas, a escassez de amor pode fazer o coração secar-se até ficar sem vida e morrer. Sente necessidade disso? Sente que o seu coração está duro? Precisa de amor? Precisa ser uma pessoa mais amorosa? Beleza! Este é o primeiro passo, porque sentir-se insensível é um auto-sintoma da maturidade de alguém que possui uma grande sensibilidade. Só pelo fato de estar lendo esta mensagem, já temos uma evidência de que Deus está trabalhando no seu coração.
