“People have heard my groaning, but there is no-one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so that they may become like me.

|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

|Lamentações 2:6|
He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

DEPENDE DA SUBMISSÃO
1Crônicas 21-24
Dependendo da situação, Deus pode usar alguém ou não. Na leitura de hoje, vemos alguém bloqueando a possibilidade que Deus teria de usá-lo, pelo menos naquele momento. Refiro-me a Davi que, ao invés de fazer o que Deus queria, resolveu fazer exatamente o contrário. E o resultado disso foi drástico.
Quando saí no mundo para me colocar à disposição do serviço da igreja, do trabalho de Deus, sempre tive um princípio de vida, algo particular meu: ir aonde Deus mandar. Com isso, já rodei muito e aceitei fazer muita coisa que Deus me pediu. Mas, ao longo do ministério, tenho aprendido que “ir aonde Deus mandar”, também implica o “não ir”. Às vezes, nos “metemos” aonde Deus não manda, fazer o que Deus não pede, achando que é bonito. Já dei algumas cabeçadas com isso, sabia? Precisamos estar muito sintonizados com Deus e em comunhão. Devemos pedir para que Ele fale ao nosso coração, nos fazendo entender o que Ele quer façamos e o que não quer que façamos. Mesmo se for algo bom, nobre e excelente aos nossos olhos, se não for da vontade de Deus, não compensa.
Porém, quando acertamos com Deus nos propósitos de fazer ou não as coisas, é uma bênção. Leia 1Crônicas 22 em diante. Você encontrará muitas pessoas trabalhando para Deus, muitos obreiros, muitas pessoas boas. No meio dessas pessoas, há os levitas. Você sabe quem eram eles?
Descendentes de Levi, filho de Jacó, os levitas se originaram através de três descendentes: Gerson, Coate e Merari. Esses três indivíduos fundaram três famílias tribais. Da descendência de Coate, surgiram Moisés e Arão. E essa tribo ficou tão famosa porque foi escolhida por Deus para realizar um trabalho muito importante.
O serviço e os cuidados do tabernáculo e, mais tarde, também do templo, foram confiados aos levitas, devido à posição que eles tinham assumido com relação à apostasia dos israelitas no monte Sinai. Lembra de quando todas as tribos tinham se juntado para cair em pecado e idolatria, adorando o bezerro de ouro? Quando Moisés desceu do monte e fez um chamado para quem quisesse se colocar do lado certo, voluntariamente, os levitas rapidamente retornaram à lealdade que eles tinham a Deus, mostrando zelo pela Sua causa. Em consequência disso, o Senhor escolheu a tribo de Levi para que fossem seus funcionários especiais, realizando os deveres religiosos que, até naquela época, de acordo com o antigo costume patriarcal, era tarefa dos primogênitos.
Aprendemos que se pudermos ser usados por Deus ou não, como uma bênção para a humanidade, dependerá da nossa submissão a Ele. Então, esteja sintonizado, fazendo o que Deus quer!
