“People have heard my groaning, but there is no-one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so that they may become like me.

|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

|Lamentações 2:6|
He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

|Lamentações 2:7|
The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

FESTAS SABÁTICAS
Levítico 23-25
Como a leitura de hoje fala sobre algumas festas e sábados, quero fazer aqui um resumo e algumas considerações sobre esse assunto.
A palavra sábado, no hebraico antigo, entre os israelitas, poderia ter alguns significados diferentes: a)Descanso; b)Sétimo dia da semana; c)Um feriado qualquer. Portanto, para relacionar abaixo as festividades judaicas, quero ressaltar que cada um desses dias festivos era um sábado, não importando em que dia da semana caísse. São os sábados cerimoniais, que não devem ser confundidos com os sábados semanais.
1. Festa da Páscoa - 14º dia do mês de Abib (Não era um feriado - Números 28:16).
2. Festa dos Pães Asmos - 15º ao 21º dia de Abib (Sábados cerimoniais, o primeiro e o último dia da festa - Números 28:17).
3. Festa do Pentecostes - 50 dias após a oferta do molho movido que era realizada no 16º do mês de Abib (Sábado cerimonial era dia de Santa Convocação - Êxodo 23:16; 34:22; Números 28:26; Atos 2:1).
4. Festa das Trombetas - Primeiro dia do 7º mês (Sábado cerimonial - era dia de Santa Convocação - Números 29:1).
5. Dia da Expiação - Décimo dia do 7º mês (Sábado cerimonial - era dia de Santa Convocação - Números 29:7).
6. Festa dos Tabernáculos - Essa festa acontecia do 15º ao 22º dia do 7º mês, e nela, os sábados cerimoniais eram o primeiro e último dias da festa (Números 29:12; Êxodo 23:16; Levítico 23:34).
Em Cristo, cumprem-se, com notável exatidão, tais sábados cerimoniais, a começar pelas festas primaveris (Páscoa, Pães Asmos e Pentecostes). Ele morreu como cordeiro pascal (14º dia de Abib) e o período a seguir foi o dos pães asmos e das ervas amargas, por Sua morte. Sua ressurreição foi exatamente no 16º dia de Abib. Nesse dia, Cristo ressuscitou representando as primícias (molho movido). Após isso, em 50 dias viria o Pentecostes. Exatamente nesse dia, Cristo era recebido no Céu e derramava sobre os discípulos a chuva do Espírito Santo.
Os estudos feitos quanto às festas outonais (Trombetas, Expiação e Tabernáculos) demonstram que elas estão claramente relacionadas em torno da segunda vinda de Cristo. A festa da Expiação representa o juízo que Ele está executando atualmente no Céu, a festa das Trombetas representa a proclamação atual do evangelho a todo o mundo e a dos Tabernáculos está relacionada com a Nova Terra.
Por outro lado, o sábado semanal, como os demais mandamentos do Decálogo (Tiago 2), são divinos e eternos (Mateus 5:17-19). Se amamos a Jesus, iremos guardar Seus mandamentos que “não são pesados” (João 14:15; 1João 5:3). A obediência é o resultado natural e espontâneo da fé.
