“People have heard my groaning, but there is no-one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so that they may become like me.

“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

LIBERTAÇÃO BÍBLICA
Êxodo 12-13
Um dos melhores filmes que já assisti na minha vida é bem antigo. Ele foi gravado há décadas, mas ainda não vi outro do gênero que o superasse. Aliás, é o meu DVD preferido dos filmes que tenho colecionados lá em casa. Já o assisti dezenas de vezes: em português, espanhol, inglês. Muitos dos trechos dele eu sei de cor. Sabe de que filme estou falando? Tente descobrir! Ele tem a capa do encarte vermelha e vem em DVD duplo, porque tem mais de três horas de duração. Refiro-me ao filme “Os Dez Mandamentos”. Ele, na realidade, é o enredo da história de Moisés. O ponto alto dele, na minha opinião, é o êxodo, a saída do povo de Israel, sendo libertos do Egito. Creio que isso é que faz com que esse seja um grande filme.
Esse tema é uma das histórias mais lindas da Bíblia. Até quem nunca leu o Livro Sagrado conhece essa história. Para quem não conhece essa história direito, ela parece lenda. Afinal, é uma história impossível de acontecer, pensando sob a lógica humana. Mas é ignorância o fato de não conseguir acreditar nessa história. E provo isso para você.
Prepare-se para o desafio. Abra sua Bíblia em Êxodo 12 e leia até o capitulo 13. Mas não se contente em apenas ler. Vá fundo e estude. Pesquise sobre o assunto, assista ao filme que estou lhe falando, leia comentários sobre o tema e vai acontecer algo fantástico. Você irá se apaixonar pela história e os detalhes dela pelas lições que ela traz. Não é somente uma história muito linda. É, também, uma história libertadora.
E por falar em libertação, não sei se você, neste momento, por acaso, precisa de uma libertação. Penso que sim, porque, na verdade, todos nós, em cada momento da vida, estamos sempre precisando de algum tipo de libertação. Uns precisam ser libertos do vício das drogas, outros de um mau hábito alimentar. Há pessoas que necessitam se libertar de um mau relacionamento, de más amizades, das dívidas, do desemprego, etc. Cada um tem suas necessidades de libertação. Você está preocupado com o quê? Do que está precisando se libertar? Reflita, mas saiba que não vim aqui trazer nada da teologia da libertação. Fique tranqüilo.
Por outro lado, a Bíblia fala da promessa de libertação que é prometida para o crente. Quer aprender sobre isso na sua Bíblia? Então anote: 2Pedro 2:9; Hebreus 2:15; 2Timóteo 4:18; 2Coríntios 1:10; 1Coríntios 10:13. Essas são algumas das muitas passagens que mostram para o cristão que Deus quer lhe dar libertação. Você pode encontrar a libertação que você precisa lendo a Bíblia.
