“People have heard my groaning, but there is no-one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so that they may become like me.

|Lamentações 2:1|
“Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.” [This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.] How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! [Or How the LORD in his anger has treated the Daughter of Zion with contempt!] He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonour.

In fierce anger he has cut off every horn [Or all the strength; or every king; horn here symbolises strength.] of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.

Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.

The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.

He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.

The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.

Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.

DO JEITO CERTO?

Você tem procurado ouvir a voz de Deus do jeito certo ou errado? Talvez alguém questione: “Como assim, pastor?” Na nossa leitura bíblica, podemos aprender sobre isso através das lições tiradas da história de hoje. Pode acontecer de duas formas.
A primeira maneira de ouvir a voz de Deus de forma errada seria “ouvir a voz de Deus”. Parece estranho? Eu explico: é quando alguém pensa que está ouvindo a voz de Deus, mas, na realidade, não está ouvindo coisíssima nenhuma. Isso foi o que aconteceu com Acabe em 1Reis 22:1-6. E olha que era a voz dos profetas, hein? Era exatamente o que o rei, no fundo, gostaria de ouvir. Às vezes, acontece isso conosco. Procuramos ouvir o que queremos ouvir e ainda forçamos a barra para querer dizer que isso é de Deus. Porém, na realidade, a busca está sendo na fonte errada.
A segunda maneira de ouvir de forma errada seria torcer o sentido daquilo que Deus disse. Sabe quando a pessoa dá um jeitinho de forçar a Palavra de Deus para defender uma ideia própria? Outro dia, assisti a uma reportagem de um pastor impostor que o Fantástico mostrou. Ele lia a palavra “adúltera” sem o acento agudo para dizer que em Oséias tinha uma ordem para ele adulterar com a mulher do próximo. Adúltera, sem o assento, vira um verbo imperativo: “adultera”.
Na história de hoje, o rei também deu um jeitinho de burlar a Palavra do Senhor. Ele raciocinou: “Bem, se quem vai morrer é o rei, então é só eu ir vestido como súdito e Josafá como o rei. Assim ele morre no meu lugar.” O que ele não raciocinou é que, para Deus, o que importa não é a roupa que vestimos, e sim, quem somos.
É perigoso ouvir a voz de Deus da maneira errada, pois não adianta fugir da verdade. Quer queiramos ou não, a Palavra de Deus se cumprirá do jeito dEle e não do nosso. Queiramos ou não, a Palavra do Senhor se cumprirá e pronto. Acreditemos ou não, gostemos disso ou não. E essa é uma lição que precisamos aprender. Estamos vivendo em dias muito importantes da história deste planeta. Daqui a pouco, o destino de todo mundo será colocado em “xeque”, igual aconteceu com cada um desses reis da nossa história bíblica. E quer queiramos ou não, teremos apenas uma das duas opções que Deus tem planejado para o ser humano. Não adianta querer escapar. Seu destino será determinado de acordo com a maneira que você ouve a voz de Deus.
