And it came to pass after a time, in the days of the wheat-harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid of the goats. And he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber; but her father would not suffer him to go in.

DOAÇÃO DE VIDA
Levítico 17-19
Já percebeu que a Bíblia proíbe comer o sangue retirado do animal, da mesma forma que proíbe comer a gordura das carnes ingeridas? Tem gente que confunde isso com a questão da transfusão de sangue. Mas a Bíblia não proíbe a “transfusão” de sangue. Note bem o que está escrito em Gênesis 9:4 e Levítico 7:26. O assunto ali é alimentação e não procedimentos médicos.
Por que Deus proíbe que usemos o sangue como alimento? Porque Ele quer que tenhamos saúde, e comer o sangue ou a gordura debilita nosso organismo e pode trazer doenças muito prejudiciais.
Mas algo completamente diferente de ingerir sangue como comida (que, por sinal, é algo totalmente desnecessário) é dar ou receber uma transfusão de sangue. Ingerir sangue contribui para estragar a saúde. A transfusão de sangue, com certeza, tem salvado e poderá salvar muitas vidas.
Pense em termos do amor cristão. Aí mesmo em Levítico 19 diz que devemos amar o nosso próximo como a nós mesmos. Todo o sistema sacrifical descrito em Levítico era uma dramatização que ilustrava o sacrifício de Jesus por nós. Logo, doar sangue está muito mais relacionado com as leis levíticas que não doar. Doar sangue pode ser um ato que vem a refletir o próprio amor de Cristo, que deu o seu sangue por amor a nós. Pois agora, do ponto de vista físico, podemos dar oportunidade para que outros sobrevivam recebendo o inestimável fluído da vida.
E o mesmo pode ser dito sobre a doação de órgãos em vida. Quanto à doação de órgãos após a morte, não cremos haver nenhum impedimento bíblico para isso. Com a morte, as partes do corpo serão perdidas para sempre. E se esses preciosos órgãos não nos valem mais, por que não permitir que outros se beneficiem deles e passem a viver com mais saúde e em melhor estado com algo que se tornará pó? Na ressurreição, Deus não precisará valer-se daquela própria matéria para trazer-nos à vida. Não existe nenhuma lei da natureza que requeira que Deus devolva ao corpo as mesmas partículas da matéria que o compunham antes da morte. E mesmo que exista, Deus seria muito mais poderoso que tais restrições.
Precisamos nos preocupar muito mais com os problemas morais apontados por trás das regras escritas em Levítico 18.
Creio que Jesus vê uma pessoa que doa sangue com as boas lentes de Lucas 19:10. Porque se Ele veio derramar o Seu sangue para nos salvar, com certeza Ele se satisfaz, com alegria, quando alguém se dispõe a também doar seu sangue para salvar alguém.
Faça alguém sorrir e, quem sabe, viver! Doe vida!
