Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

|Isaías 53:2|
He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.

He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Êxodo 30-31
Jeová chamou Moisés, mostrou-lhe a maquete de um santuário que havia construído nos céus (Hebreus 8:1-2) e disse-lhe: “E farão um santuário para mim, e eu habitarei no meio de vocês. Tenha o cuidado de fazer tudo segundo o modelo que lhe foi mostrado no monte” (Êxodo 25:8-9 e 40; Hebreus 8:5; 9:24). Essa seria uma parábola para a época presente (Hebreus 9:9-10 - RA), para que as boas novas da salvação fossem pregadas ao povo do Israel antigo (Hebreus 4:2).
Leia Hebreus 9:2-7. O tabernáculo israelita saiu parecido com aquele que está nos céus (Hebreus 8:5), que João viu em visão (Apocalipse 14:17; 15:5; 16:17). Ficava no meio do acampamento e tinha um pátio, onde somente os ofertantes entravam. Esse pátio simbolizava o planeta Terra, extensão do Santuário Celeste, palco da sacrifical história da redenção.
A parte interna da tenda tinha dois cômodos: Santo e Santíssimo. O lugar Santo era freqüentado somente pelos sacerdotes. Tinha três móveis: uma mesa com pães, um altar para queimar incenso e um candeeiro (Apocalipse 4:11). Já no lugar Santíssimo, somente o sumo sacerdote entrava, apenas uma vez por ano (Hebreus 9:7). Lá ficava a Arca da Aliança (Êxodo 25:10-16), como a que existe no santuário de Deus nos Céus (Apocalipse 11:19) para guardar as tábuas dos Dez Mandamentos.
Esse Santuário era todo desmontável para que os levitas pudessem carregá-lo por onde quer que os hebreus fossem em seus 40 anos de vagueação desértica.
Centenas de ensinamentos sobre o evangelho eram simbolizadas por cada detalhe da construção e dos serviços do santuário. Abaixo, alguns exemplos.
Um dos principais serviços no Santuário era a oferta pelo pecado individual (Levítico 5 e 6). Para ser perdoado, o pecador colocava as mãos sobre o animal. Na presença do sacerdote, confessava seus pecados a Deus. Em seguida, matava o animal (Levítico 1:5 e 11; 3:1-2, 7-8, 13; 5; 6) e o entregava ao sacerdote, seu intercessor.
Hoje, o nosso intercessor é Jesus. O meio de acesso é a oração.
